sort of off topic, but in relation to your signature, swtor has 100 servers right now in the EGA open, probably more before launch. not everyone is in yet and they are mostly full...

where did they say the 13th? it still says the 20th on thier site. or are you talking about the early access? if so, that has been planned for quite some time.

Since September of 2009 They have been charging me like clockwork every month for a subscription I canceled months ago (back in June).

 

The real kicker is I have to call every month to get the charges reversed.

Why haven't I just canceled the account? They won't let me becuase I STILL HAVE FREE TIME from recruit a friend. So even if I was still actually playing the game, I would still be playing for free and yet I get a 15$ charge every month.

 

Mythic along with all of its employess can DIAF. I mean really they didn't need to do much else but listen to the massive outcrys from their community about what was wrong from the very beginning of the game.

 

That and rework the ENTIRE engine on which the game runs. But what did they do? they just listened to Romple and Zarbix.

tell your bank to block charge from mythic, problem solved.

OR cancel your card and get a new one.

OR cancel your bank account and use a different bank if they cant accomodate you.

glad i dont play any more, this would have screwed me over so badly.  i can only imagine the extent of the damage caused. i am willing to bet LOTS of people quit playing the game now also, considering how few already play, its going to cause them a huge problem.

After reading about the awards for EVE this year it got me thinking. EVE over the last several years grows yearly without fail. While games like EQ2 loses subs, LOTRO is stagnant and WOW is starting to decline there is EVE which continues to grow.  There is no reason to think the trend will not continue for some time to come either. DUST will bring in folks who want to try both sides and the new expansion seems to have everyone excited and new players entering all the time.  So that does beg the question of will EVE's star ever dim?  

 

I honestly do not see a time in the next 6-8 years without EVE in it and a major player.  Other games are trying space exploration but none to this point have done and created what EVE has.  I am amazed all the time by the CCP team and the awards are well deserved and hope to see many more in the future.  

i like eve, but i am not a hardcore pvper. i would like to justify a sub, but with the pve so lacking and it basically being a pvp with a gang or corp type game, it leaves me out. i am more of a casual/solo pvp player, and it doesnt have much room for me. when dust comes out, it may be something i will really like, though.

yep, hardcore server crash after 5 minutes.

2pm est, server was overloaded and crashed within the first 5 minutes.

you are pretty hilarious...the original game came out...when? oh yeah...november 3rd. when is the expansion coming out? march 16th. that is way more than three months last i checked. the original game took me about 60 hours on my first playthrough and i have played through 3 times since. if i didnt get my monies worth...ill be damned.

in its current state in beta, i would give it a c. after some bug fixes and changes i might up it to a b.

The reason why you don't see Viagra ads and you usually see MMORPG ads instead, is because advertisers pay for space in websites which have a member base likely to buy their products.

not a silly question at all, there are plenty of other single player games out there, but you dont see them getting airtime here. especially whole front page type. must have been some big bucks.

just wondering since it is not in any way an mmo, nor does it even have multiplayer.

Games companies like Blizzard are good for the genre and attract a lot of people. They might not take the genre the direction you and I would like, but that does not make those 10 million players any less of a gamer. Thinking so is just retarted and slightly elitist.
