I believe that I would be happy with a mmo that had gear as just cosmetics and the way you positioned, your skills, and your ability to use certain combos ect would depend who wins......and the only way I can think of that working is to just have no stats on gear, and just have the chars develop themselves. After all, if I put on brighter socks I don't get smarter all the sudden, and If I go from one t-shirt to another I don't all the sudden become stronger....

When you've gotten your fourth maxed character, gotten at least two maxed crafting levels and have completed Sea, Sky and the rest like most of us "hardcore" players have... then we'll start take "recommendations" from someone who's played FFXI for under four months. I forgot I played that game >.< I gave it a couple days trial and decided it wasn't for me......by the way I was being sarcastic.....trying to hint that its funny people wanted a death penalty....cause you know....most "normal" people don't "like" being punished :P Or atleast I was under that impression.....or are those people who want a death penalty just full of Ego and think they won't ever ever die.

I saw we make it like old RPGS.......I used to play Final Fantasy/ Chrono Cross/ Legend of Dragoon when I was like 10, and not taking the time to read tutorials I actually would beat those games using just the "Attack", "Defend", and Potions. Ignoring magic and other special shit >.< Well when I could.....just give every character an attack button, a defend button, and a items list and let em go at it :P Noone would like it, but that would be different.......in a nostalgic way >.< Or maybe make the fighting like Fight Night game and have it gamepad and headset compatible. Just use the thumb sticks to hit/swing in different ways, and use another button combo to roll/dodge/parry and have the chars duke it out and use headsets instead of keyboards to communicate.

Other than that I am playing WoW cause my old dorm mates force me to.........instead of using the WoW money to buy food >.>

I don't reccomend it though, it sucks.

I reccomend not eating for a day and taking the saved 5 dolla to Gamespot and preordering Aion, you get a beta key and get to play the beta on some weekends when NCsoft thinks you've been a good geek.

The things that "peeve" me as it were, are the background textures when seen close up. They are blurry. Yes, it helps reduce lag and improve performance for large scale battles and things, and you don't even notice the blurriness when faraway, but it still bugs me.

One other thing, for the LOVE of Carpenter on a stick, PLEASE don't let them replace ALL the voices with english western ones, it would without a doubt, suck. At least give us the option to choose which language to speak, like the Korean defaults.

Wonderful Wonderful games that would look just like WoW, since it stole from EQ, who stole from other peeps, who stole from Dungeon and Dragons pen and paper, who took a bunch of ideas from Tolkien. WoW itself is just a copy. Like lots of stuff. Any FPS out there is just a copy of who knows what in the long line of identicle FPS....same with any Fighting Game......or any Hollywood Movie, all with their identicle plot twists and half-brained dialogue. The Western world I have seen is a rip off of Europe, and the majority of Europe ripped off things from the Fallen Roman Empire, who stole from Greece, who stole from Egypt, who may have stole from Mesopotamia.....I think......So in short: Everything is a copy and has already been done unless it is new science.
