Originally posted by Ripclaw Go watch a couple videos for it on YouTube. It actually plays and looks pretty cool. What's so great in www.youtube.com/watch ? It doesn't have nothing that made me think of aion. [Edit] Ok watched another clip on youtube from the list and yeah the UI is exactly like aion's UI but surely not graphics and animations. |

Originally posted by Karahandras what about the opposite and those saying how incredible it's going to be? I understand many are hyped about it since mabinogi is a bit popular even to the westerns. Vindictus (real name mabinogi heroes) is done by the same company not to add it has some nice features like the combat, gameplay, the durability system that the lower it is the armor will look like torn so there is some decent features that hopefully will be good in the game. |

Originally posted by Kordesh Maybe just maybe since you can move and jump plus back flips and what not around? Did I say anything on it being an fps or rpg? assumption much? The combat system is something similar to dirge of cerberus but at least in that you actually had to aim and it was also an rpg so yes an fps + rpg can work together. And just because I find it weird that with all that freedom of jumping and moving here and there during a fight now I'm a SE diehard fan? lol people like you should learn to read before typing... just because someone doesn't like a game doesn't mean he's a diehard fan of X company. |

Saw a trailer yesterday and thought it's not bad then watched another clip on youtube and still not bad but the combat seems wierd, shooting with guns, free to move/jump but have auto target? meh |

General: Need for Speed World: Beta Announced

Nope the meaning of mmo has changed throughout the years, for me if in every map you can see players not only when invited that's an mmo but if it''s instanced or lobby based then no it's not an mmo maybe mog (multiplayer online game) but not mmo. |

Originally posted by Proson Tell me then wise one how can it be an mmo without it being something similar to what I said? Because its just prolly one of those games that call themself "MMO's" these days. Yeah probably like I said lobby based or heavily instanced, just hope it won't be player made hosts and claimed as "mmo". Well at least there's the single player to play with if online mode sucks or gets closed (hellgate london). |

Unless you can go out of the cars and have a "real" character with you can move in the streets and who knows how can this be an mmo? I'm pretty sure it will be lobby based or instanced, would you imagine 1 million cars on the same track? But if they make you go out of the cars and do quests/whatever I think it could turn into something similar to grand theft auto imo. |

Console games cost $60 up from $50, so are we now taking MMORPG development for granted?
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 3/14/10 7:53:34 AM
All I have to say they keep on rising price because of silly excuses like graphics and so but yet they keep on making games shorter then ever. Miss Psx games length... |

Hey we can Jump Freely in combat in GW2,, what you think about that?
General Discussion « Guild Wars 2 3/14/10 6:49:30 AM
So because they are implementing something many people complained and/or wanted in guild wars 1 makes it a wow clone? lol.. |

This is what I heard it can be false: The pvp is "open world" but to attack people from same faction you have to click or do something and your enemy has 10 seconds or so to prepare or run before you are free to attack him/her. Sort of duel but it can't be denied =/ |

Originally posted by Silok For me there are not bad, there are just not a FF. FFX9 was the last of the old way. I mean i want turn based combat in FF i dont want these king of fast combat.... (dont know how to describe them). I want lvl and job i dont want (like in FF12) these ability grid where a mage can wear plate armor... anyway that my view of it and i cant accept all these stupid change. They dont improve gameplay they just change it.
To each their own I guess ff12 combat was not bad for me personally it was inspired by vagrant story and the grid was not bad too it added some time investment to open your character and this way you could make your main character with a "class" you want to not what SE made it you must use. If you used plate as a mage you would be lose many stats that would make your character better in magic so while you could you would be a half mage instead of a mage. |

I didn't find the single players bad (ff9 fav) excluding blizzball who wants soccer in an rpg? I have to live with it already in real life hate it so much xD FFXI has a slow paced combat and is somehow similar to ff12 menus to attack just to tell you from advance hehe. |

What are your system requirements? They are trying hard to lower them as much as possible but if you want a game that is good looking you will need to raise it a bit but I'm sure it won't be like AoC were one of the things that made it get less profit in my opinion was the system requirements. |

Can't understand why people want weapons to be small and are frustrated when many mmos uses bigger weapons so they look better and cooler. When I'm using a thief I want to see my daggers I don't want to look at my character hands and see he's holding a little knife that it's barely seen. |

Can be a bit boring the first time but when I played I never saw bots or gold spams hehe. Although when I tried it again few months ago I got a whisper or 2 from botters so they found a way into the game =/ |

Yes now "purchase" an ID the first one costs 0 it should show then after you buy it you can play. [Edit] AND if you intend on playing with keyboard and mouse go search on how to change the menu to compact or you will rage again. |

Never bothered me much it was only like 3 clicks to enter the game but 1 thing surely frustrated me a bit to find! after you install the expansions unless you go some were in playonline to activate them (I forgot now) you wouldn't be able to enter the maps and do the quests from them. |
