Ironic that you should bring up Guild Wars and monthly fees in the same breath. Considering the former doesn't have the latter. |

They're definitely useful. That's about as much as could be said without violating NDA. :) |

No, Executuve producer, is not funding it
Hi-Rez Studios' C.E.O. Erez Goren is funding it out of his own pocket. He was previously the C.E.O. for other software companies in the business sector: http://atlanta.bizjournals.com/atlanta/stories/2003/10/13/daily3.html http://www.hirezstudios.com/about_hi-rez_studios.html |

Oh trust me, I know. :) Full disclosure here, I'm an Alpha tester for the game. It really is quite fun. That's why I'd like them to release more extensive footage, because I've experienced how fun the gameplay can be and they small amount of publicly-released footage doesn't capture that. :) |

One thing I would point out is that basically all of the gameplay footage that's been publicly released so far is in the form of a collection of short clips, as opposed to actually seeing how a game plays out. Personally, I wish they would release some more lengthy footage so people could see more of the actual gameplay, as opposed to just people shooting at each other. But that probably won't happen until later on when things are more finalized. |

Why, because you don't think anyone except a giant company could make a good game? |

One of Global Agenda's key elements is that of the Agency, a group of players coming together to work towards global domination. In light of this, HexAgenda has an Agency Listings section to help players find agencies they'd like to join, or just find out more about a particular agency they might have heard of. Now, not only does HexAgenda want to help players and agencies find one another, we also want to help you get into beta, too! So we're giving you the chance to win one of 3 packs of beta keys (4 to a pack) for the Global Agenda Closed Beta. Read on for details of how your agency can enter for the chance to win.
(Official contest page: http://www.hexagenda.com/agency-beta-contest)
1. Create a user account for HexAgenda. (If you already have one, you can skip this step.) 2. Add an entry for your agency in the Agency List. The entry should provide at least a reasonable amount of information about your agency, and should specify at least some method of getting in contact with the agency. (Entries that are obviously lacking in any real content will be disqualified.) 3. Send a message on HexAgenda to Xzaph with a link to your agency listing. If your listing doesn't provide something like a agency website link or the like, include links to a few of your members on the official forums. (This is just so we can verify that the agency isn't made up on the spot to cheese the contest!) The subject of the message should contain the words "Agency Beta Contest". 4. The deadline for submissions is 11:59 PM Pacific Standard Time, on Sunday, May 31st 2009 (that's 7:59 AM UTC, Monday, June 1st 2009).
Contest Terms and Conditions:
Good luck! |

There are also PvE missions available. (The core of the game is definitely oriented towards PvP, though.) |

The NDA would like to have a word with you. |

HexAgenda is a site revolving around Global Agenda, with a number of different features that anyone interested in the upcoming game might be interested in. For starters, there's the Alpha/Beta Referral Code Request List - a place for those looking for alpha/beta referral codes to post their requests in an organized spot, where they're easy to find for those who have such codes and are looking to give them away. Next up, there's the Agency List - if you're planning on forming a Global Agenda agency, post the info about it so others can find out! It's set up so that you can add tags to your agency's list to make it easy for like-minded people to notice your group. In addition to those two tools, HexAgenda also offers a variety of both official and fan-created content, ranging from desktop backgrounds to fiction set in the GA world and even comics. Just now discovering Global Agenda? Check out HexAgenda's Game Overview for a rundown of what the game's about, and if you're interested, take a look at the Alpha/Beta Information page for a quick run-through on how to get a chance to see the game now rather than later. Finally, feel free to join the Global Agenda community in IRC, either with your own client or via HexAgenda's web client. Stop by and take a look around! |

Sending out Beta Testing referral codes. Have 5.

Originally posted by gravegiver17 As was mentioned in the initial post, a referral code doesn't automatically get you an instant invite to be a tester. It just increases your chances to get in when they decide to invite more people.
For those still looking to get referral codes, there's a place you can post requests for them specifically on hexagenda.com (and a couple of users there have already said they're giving away referral codes). |
