Hello, I like Archlord because of the crafting, pvp, race verse race and community. Also uses less bandwidth since I got capped internet.

MMOs can learn a lesson from Dark Souls
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 10/13/11 12:43:18 PM
"Last night after work I went and picked up a copy of Dark Souls. I must say it is the most fun and most challenging game I have ever played. You die alot int his game but what keeps me motivated to play is the challenge. You see, this is what mmos lack alot of today, challenge. Today's mmos, everything is dumbed down so that even a caveman can do it for the sake of a sale. This idea completely ruins the fun aspect of mmos. Why would I want to keep playing a game that has no challenge and no fun ? We need to have mmos that are challenging and fun to play. Making mmos that aren't fun and challenging just totally hurts the mmo genre as a whole." Hello, I recently starting playing Perfect World International and find it challenging to make coins to buy gold on a pvp server. So some games have different challenges. Also bosses are difficult to take down without a healer and party. Basically depends what mmo game one plays. |

With the poor economic situation globally and more job being lost maybe the cheaper subscibtion game could survive. |

Hello I recommend perfect world international too. Lots of races to choose from and good crafting system. Graphics are excellent and you can fly and swim in the game. There are pve and pvp servers. |

Hello, I recommend trying out Argo online. The game is steampunk style and currently has small english community. Lots of quests to complete and 8 different classes to pick from the two opposing nations. Only problem is the lack of crafting because only one crafting skill can be obtained at a time. |

Soon to be released and no players???
General Discussion « Heroes of Thessalonica 8/12/11 10:35:39 AM
Hello I have been playing since the 8 th of August and when I reach level 28, it becomes difficult to level. Population is still low as I speak. Problem is little advertising and the grind needed to get exp. I see no AOE skills on my tank class to pull enough mobs to grind compared to Archlord. There is only three daily quests that can be done once per day that give good exp. The cargo escort event during double exp requires 2 gold, which is hard to collect. So the game mechanics are disappointing and I believe this is why people stop playing, it is not going to change because the 0.96 patch was released today, no new quests were added for aditional exp. Positive aspect, the game is open pvp and this keeps everyone alert. Pity few players online. Hope the game changes, good game to play if there were more quests. Thanks |

Hi, I agree because I only saw battle forge in the majority of the shops. Most games have to be donwloaded or one has to order the game disc from the company. |
|

Hi, Archlord and Perfect World are good games even at low graphics setting. Not sure sure if the lag will effect you because it depends on your internet connection and server status. |
