personally, I hope they do add it into game in the future
I care enough how I look that sometimes I wont wear upgrade gear it if looks stupid on me carrying "gear for show" in town isnt the same thing as being able to always display the gear you prefer to be seen in (not to mention bag space!)
is it high priority? no but it would be a welcome enhancement, like hairstyles |

Thinking of playing EQ2... Armor Variety?
The Tavern (General) « Everquest II 3/12/08 11:49:49 AM
at level 20, you have access to the appearance tab that gives you flexbilitiy to wear what you want for show (despite the armor you are using)
LOTRO is the only other mmo that supports this since Chapter 12

I didnt play it but here's wiki's info en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_Empires On 3 September 2004 Codemasters announced that they had ceased game development citing technical issues. |

whatever mmo gives me lasting friendships, even outside of game and memories
for me, the original Everquest wins in those 2 critieria
WOW gets a nominuation for changing my perspective regarding how "solo friendly" mmos can be |

Why Dungeons and Dragons is superior to any MMORPG.
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 3/09/08 6:01:28 AM
social bond is a great point
I still get together with same 5 friends from highshcool , *25 years later* 3 or 4 times a year to play a homebrewed version of D&D |

the people that asked for the last 4 scrolls never used them

MMOs aside
the "Class vs Skills" system variations have been around for decades in Tabletop gaming
some pnp RPGS do Classes (like D&D) other systems do skills (like GURPS)
there is no right way to do it |

Everquest II is the best MMORPG out today

regarding bags I know new people have no cash at beginning but those Redwood boxes that players make are pretty cheap at 8g for 36 slots (2 kunark newbie quests give you bags too) |

the original everquest will always hold a warm spot in my heart for me but I no longer enjoy it
WOW did one thing for me (with mixed feelings) the game changed my perspective of what I want from a MMO for casualness and soloability
the time sinks of the original Everquest and lengthy corpse retrievals, I do not miss (I know the CR is easy in EQ1 now but thats besides the point!)
which brings me to EQ2, which for now, is the best mmo for me - not as grindy and group driven as EQ1 - not "everything is GEAR" like WOW |
