hmmm i downloaded a program called ati tray tools and made a profile then applied settings to ffxivgame.exe and i think it done it :D

I guess that's the ATI version of NHancer. Glad you got it worked out.

So does anyone know if this game will be getting vsync or is there any way of forcing it?

cause this game has really bad tearing.

i already disabled shadows and distance pre draw but not physics...

So i got into the beta and i run it on 1920x1200 but it lags really badly and when i tried it on low it improved but still lagged a bit there is also quite alot of screen tearing and the option in CCC didn't fix it any help? im using catalyst 10.7

damn what fps you getting cause mine runs horribly on a 5870 and a q6600 @ 3.1ghz

the ati is quite cheap i hear but can overclock like a best as the gtx 470 is a bit more but is good at tessellation...

well sir you were right! went on ffxiv core today again and to my suprise "German FFXIV Beta Key Giveaways Again"

they said you have to enter again and that it's "first come first server" but will end on the 11th supposably when phase 3 starts,

just a heads up to those that didnt find this :P

now ffxivcore is doing a giveaway only to NA players tho :( that kinda sucks.

Phase 3 is definately not open beta.  SE have already advised testers of this but I think if I quote the post it might be against NDA

"But if things go well, the beta 2 will follow shortly, which will allow players to access the game 24 hours 24.Then, hopefully, by early August, we will open the beta test phase 3 which will remain operational until the game launches"
