Im not even trolling.

 No one macros or bloodwalls in darkfall anymore since the patch that gives you 6X the skillgain compared to shooting in the air. So theres no reason to do that + you get items and cash by hunting monsters (doing PVE as it was designed)

Exploiting the AI has been fixed with new updates (expansion) so while it does happen its not widespread at all.

So while there are problems these are not one of them anymore since the patch.

 might want to put the link in the Insert/Edit link button so people can just click on it easier.

 NEW is a great guild with a city that you can call home. Also they will help you with advice, protection and items, money etc. I strongly suggest you join it to get a feel for it. 

 Alfar are the mouthbreathers of the DF races. If you want a nicer/friendlier community the dwarf/human/mirdain alliance is much better. Ork/mahirim is like middle ground.

Alfar is only if you are oldschool pk with disregard for anyone and enjoy killing everyone since theres no allies. I think DF would make a good choice to include this in the race descriptions (that alfars are idiots in general lol )

 Hmm seems extremely useful, but Id like some others playing DF to try it out and give some feedback :)

1) Yes it's full loot but there are no epic items, everything is craftable so you can get everything back with some work

2) Yes everyone can kill you and you will die a crapload

3) The quests are alot like kill 100 of these, bring back 50 of that, but in a pvp enviroment its more exciting I guess, nothing special about quests

4) Yes there are spots where you can build cities, hamlets, houses, villages, repair and destroy everything with sieging.

5) Mainly PVP some PVE but they are trying to add more PVE with the expansion coming out tomorrow. But still mainly PVP I guess

6) no trial right now, perhaps after expansion

I've never crashed once in an Aion siege, the people that did crash were using old drivers mainly(a lot of people in my guild had this issue until they installed new drivers.), the sieges I were at had many, many more people than 2k.

 

Sieges aren't a good reason for poor graphics, if they wanted sieges to go well they would just tell you to lower the graphics during the siege.

Aion had 2k people in a siege that was uninstanced open world? I find that hard to believe to be honest, or we would of heard about it in headlines, its no small feat. Aion may have had that over many instances thought only Eve came close with having a 1.8k fight in uninstanced space, that we all know about.

And you must be disinformed to think the textures loading dont have an effect on performance. Mortal Online has much more textures/square inch than DF thanks to the UE3, it looks gorgeous but locks up with more than 5 people on screen. Performance > graphics

I PMed him my ingame name with the offer of good starting clan and advice to start up. I think thats pretty resonable since he only has to click a link and wont pay anything extra to anyone.

 The graphics cranked up are very beautiful, but for PVP everyone turns them down low, and they are very scaleable

Yes friendly fire is ingame and needs certain tactics to go around it, especially at the beginning when you must use vertical slash instead of horisontal at the newbie goblin camps. So yes, high level magic has AOE capabilities and must be used wisely with FF

I dont know about shield slams, dont think its in - but sword and board can be utilised effectively in PVE and against  AOE magic in pvp. Also mounted combat uses sword and board exclusively.
