Well, I understand what you are saying. Let me remind you what too much freedom to the financial institutions did. And since America is not on its own planet, this freedom hurt the entire global economic system (which includes American companies that trade abroad). I think that you cannot separate the States, as having its own political system and ideologies. We live in a globalized environment. Supporting a government (Bush - Republicans) with no environmental consciousness might seem profitable locally, but it will backfire on America in the near future. Mindlessly bombing far away countries might seem to help expand the economy of the States, but wait until millions of homeless refugees from these destroyed places come to your cities, or your allies cities.
The Nazi government in Germany, was right winged and was one of the strongest, strictest and most totalitatian governments that ever existed. I cannot believe that far rights in the US are anarchists. Put away the book you read that, don't talk again to the person that said that to you. Far right is someone who has the American Flag above everything. Far right is someone who believes in the superiority of the White Race. Far right is someone that would send his police to crush the protesters on the street. Far right is going to burn the books, censor the media, wage war on its neighbours, dissallow freedom of religion. Rule with an iron fist in general. Your belief about the left and right wings is wrong, even in the American context.
The freedom to pursue life and the government to guarantee that the system does not brake down is represented by Obama and the Democrats - at least that is what is closest to it currently. Don't mistake the right to own gun with civil liberties. It is just a cheap trick to make you think the Republicans are "liberal". People don't need guns in a correctly working society anyway. |

As far as theory of politics goes, this is very simplistic and also wrong. You can have anarchy on both sides and you can have totalitarian regimes on both sides as well. I quote the following from Wikipedia, which contains a wealth of very neutral information about politics: "Generally speaking, it can be said that the right wing often values tradition and social stratification while the left wing often values reform and egalitarianism." It seems that in the States you define the world around what policies and actions your governments want to push. The whole American ideology still revolves around the Cold-War anti-communist passion. "We are free people, they are communists". This is far from the truth and if you want to have a serious opinion about these matters, you need to read and break loose from what McCarthy was preaching in the 50's. |

Originally posted by Mazin Yes even if they are extremely poor, no one is denied healthcare in America. To go further on that I mean no one is denied it even the 40 million illegal aliens.
Is this why the States are ranked 46 (according to the CIA factbook) in infant mortality? That is 2 places below Cuba, by the way... |

And that's why Obama won the election, because most Americans were so fed up with Bush, yes even Republicans. America is a center country, Obama is far left. He is popular, yes. He's policies are not.
If you read on international politics, you will find out that what you consider "far-left", is conservative or center-right in most European countries. But, even for the States, Obama is not far-left....

There is 2 stories in this one thread. I will repeat this again, AMERICANS ARE NOT DENIED HEALTHCARE. Believe what you want, if your news tells you otherwise, here are 2 Americans in this thread that do not know each other from anything telling you different. Americans are not denied healthcare!
Even if they are extremely poor? |

Wrong again, take my story, take the story of the person right above you. Do you live in America obviously not.

You guys were ruled by an idiot for 8 years and now you complain about Obama? Gosh, some Americans are unbelievable. Even if you are a war-petrol-and-destruction-loving Republican, you have to admit that Bush was not the most suitable person to be the leader of the most advanced and powerful country in the world!
In the next election, just vote for the dumbest guy possible. That way, you will at least know you cannot expect much and everyone will be happy. Obama's biggest challenge is the Americans expectations from him. Something that was not the case with Bush! He was way too stupid and corrupt for people to expect anything from him... |

Where is that? |

Audio Visual has nothing to do with Darkfall and Aventurine. At some point they signed a pre-agreement that never materialized. |

Whether you like it or not, the only credible magazine/site that has reviewed DF is Eurogamer. So, until Gamespot publishes its review and gives DF a 9.5, i'll stick to the 2.

i can only propose 2 things to get Darkfall back on track. 1. hire more hands, start to make it the game they promissed,, not a shadow of it. i know its a pvp game, and the pvp is there. but if they want to have more subs than the hardcore core of pvp'ers, they should really start make some of the none pvp stuff they have promissed. 2. sell the game to someone who can make the game the game AV wanted. harsh, but its an option
Aventurine sells, but who's buying? |

Trying to write a rendering engine (twice) and failing, while they could easily license a third-party one and save time to work on all the great features that they had promised? It would even look better. But this needs a management decision that Tacos the Lieing Monkey obviously could not make. |

LOL, what does Tacos have to say about this review? DF is finally getting the official bashing it deserves! |
