I loved this game when i played it in beta, i loved it when i bought it and i still loved it when i quit playing it.. though the reason i quit has to do with noone of my friends playing it or giving it a chance, oh well.. I'm looking forward to seeing all the changes and fixes they've made since i last played it..
A friendly advice to the bored reader, don't be afraid to try it if you can make room on the harddrive for it, i can't promise that you'll like the game, but i think the game deserves a second chance despite all the bad hype Vanguard has gotten since it's release.. i still thought it was a really fun game despite the bugs, maybe you will too.. |

Though i don't disagree with you much on the numbers, i think it will certainly be higher then 250 but if it comes close to 600k is still a little up in the air with how many will be sucked back when WoW's expansion releases and TCoS.. |

One other theory is, what's expansions for if not adding new content? And what better content then adding all the races Warhammer fans know and love?
Edit: I still think that adding the remainder of the class(es) that were cut for Order would bounce up the order population quite a bit.. Another thing is that i think one of the keys to making Order more popular and thus balancing the population would be to somehow try to separate WoW from WAR, Order is not Alliance, WAR is not WoW..now let's face it, anyone that has read of WAR before it was released must've atleast heard one "Warhammer is a WoW clone" but i guess it can't really be helped as it has many similarities (even if those are really shallow like "Light/Order/Alliance vs Dark/Destruction/Horde and both being fantasygames) |

Midgard forever! :) Though i didn't choose that side for it to be easier or tougher, i just picked whatever side seemed most interesting to me, that didn't hold when i started playing WoW though.. first picked horde because that was what i wanted to play but got forced to reroll alliance to play with my friends..
Now i would probably do the same in WAR when i start playing (which is hopefully soon) but this time my friends actually picked the side that i favoured, which is Destruction..
Now i do hope that Mythic will push out the patches that adds the classes that was cut for Order to hopefully balance it out as quickly as possible.. since i've played Alliance for so long i know how annoying it was to wait in a queue forever just because there was alot less horde on the server than alliance, maybe Mythic will do something similiar to the Battlegroup-system that mostly fixed the queues for WoW (for the ones that don't know what the Battlegroup-system is, it's a system that links several servers Battlegrounds so the queues was reduced by a lot) |

I agree with a lot of opinions in this thread about how nothing is wrong with a man liking cute things or even pink, even if i wouldn't wear/play it myself because it doesn't appeal to me i don't condemn others for doing that (even if i must admit i would be a little creeped out if someone in my circuit of male friends started wearing pink
If that sort of thing appeals to you, by all means go for it, every man and woman is his/her own person, there's never anything wrong with only being yourself. |

Hmm, that's funny. I have ALWAYS hated the Alliance in WoW that much. What a coincidence, i do too..
And i play Alliance..
I've always liked the more "evil" races even if they're not evil per se (as is the case in WoW for example) and i actually started as a Troll Shaman in WoW and leveled it all the way to 50 before i realized none of my friends would abandon that goddamn alliance, which made me switch side to play with them (a little part of me dies everytime i play my wimpy male human priest, but it's something i plan to remedy when i start playing WAR) |

Of course, i think it's a shame to limit oneself to only one gender..i don't really understand the real difference between playing as an orc, tauren, whatever and playing as the opposite gender.. it's all in the game anyway.
I say play as whatever you want as long as you have fun, it's a game after all..
Can't say i've ever noticed any different attitudes towards any female characters that i've played, and i've never expected any either. I just play as whatever i think fits the class or my mood at the moment, in fact i actually prefer female characters as in most games i've they've had more fluid animations, and it's always fun seeing a female run around chopping things down with big-ass two-handed weapons. |

Even though i love healing in other games, i've been leaning towards assassin (Assassins with polearms, now how cool isn't that!?!?) But i will probably alt a Chanter or Cleric too.. |

So, it's name must be change to LOREhammer for it to be allowed to have Lore? Are you serious? The lore is a big part of the game (the core of the game i would say) and i think anyone who's ever played a Warhammer game before would agree. Since you don't care for the lore, which you made perfectly clear, you probably won't understand when i say it isn't at all as easy as traveling to the others lands to learn their techniques (especially for Dwarfs and Elves) So in essence, no, it's NOT just a PvP game.. i may be baiting a troll here but nevermind. If i were as narrowminded as some other people in MMORPG's these days i would probably shorten that to: Go back to wow lol n00b!
So, on to the topic.. I haven't bought the game (seriously considering it though) but i was in beta and while i wasn't that impressed back then i've heard good things about it from friends who play it, and i would probably not regret the purchase. |

I was one of those few people who really loved this game all the way from the beta-stage, and noone of the bugs that were supposedly "gamebreaking" for others didn't really matter much to me, i had fun with it. Unfortunately noone of my friends were interested enough in it that they would drop the MMO that they were playing so i ended up going back. |

I'm European (Swedish to be exact) and i've always played on the European servers, though i really hope i will find a server with a lot less Swedish people on it, i'm quite frankly ashamed of my country at times..
I just hope people realize that not all Swedes behave the way Slannmage described, i usually only ask if they're Swedish because there are so many it would be almost weird to not have another swede in the group, not to kick them.. i prefer to speak English actually. |

I would go with this for my game.. "WoW Me!" - 3 million bucks. (3 million) WoW and the likes has good enough graphics for me.. "Pleasing Corncob" - 2 million bucks. (5 million) Sure it would be nice with super animations, but good is enough in my book.. "Town-Dung Wait" - 2 million bucks. (7 million) I've no problem waiting for a loading-screens for dungeons and the like.. "One in a Million" - 3 million bucks. (10 million) Unique is important to me, you shouldn't look like anyone else, even if someone looks somewhat like you there's always gear that sets players apart further.. "109 Mad Skillz" - 3 million bucks. (13 million) Skills, many many skills..variety is great, i hate having just 4-5 skills to push.. "Joe Bloe Craftsman" - 2 million bucks. (15 million) Crafting could be fun, but it's nothing that ever matters that much to me.. "Turbine Entertainment" - 4 million bucks. (19 million) I loved DDO so i would probably love this game as well :) "Computer Stores" - 3 million bucks. (22 million) I think that would be enough, word of mouth to compensate of course.. "Extreme AI PVE" - 1 million bucks. (23 million) I like PvE and i'm not going to hide it, even though i like PvP too sometimes..it's questing and the likes that draws me to MMORPG's "Super Skills" - 1 million bucks. (24 million) Indeed important, gear should matter less and skills more..as long as there is minimal lag.. "Advanced quests and Lore" - 1 million bucks. (25 million) Quests quests quests, this is my cup of tea (coffee actually) i love questing, whether it's alone or with a group, questing is great when it's not just the generic "kill that, gather that" quests..
