I use Ubuntu linux on all of my computers. But I use Windows XP dualbooted for my game and music-composing fix... Only because linux is rubbish for games... |

Personally, I don't think an Elder Scrolls MMORPG would work. Haven't played Darkfall so I cannot make a comment about that.
Though, I think that if Bethesda released an MMORPG that is not based in the Elder Scrolls universe, they could probably do an incredible job on. I do hope that Bethesda tries their luck in the MMORPG scene... just not in the TES universe. So long as they wait until after they've released Fallout 3..

I haven't played Everquest for quite some time! But I remember some loading screen quotes like Those are the only ones i remember, but funny [ADDED] Opps, sorry these aren't ingame quotes like you meant |

IMO its pretty much used to transfer your chars to a less populated server, or to use a realm that a friend might be on. Makes it more fun without having the hassle to start a new character on the different realm. IIRC the Everquest character transfer cost money, but I'm not sure about the WoW one. |

Thats the problem I have too. Also when WoW levels your character for you (in terms of Strenght, Stamina etc..), I just feel like it isn't my character |

There are better mmorpgs out there in terms of gameplay ... IMO like EVE online, WoW. But this one tops all of them for a few reasons. One being that there is infact no monthly subscription fee, second being that if you dont have alot of time, you can achieve enough in a 30minute sitting .. third, you dont have to level grind to get that new weapon, or be a valued asset to a guild ... its awesome I also think that this game will stay popular GW4Life! |

yeh i had the same speed problems.. justdownloaded the game from a local ftp.jetstreamgames.co.nz and yeah... got the full game and shadow lands in 45minutes {EDIT] Excuse double post <-- accidental |
