From all indications of the latest news Blurb the NDA will be in effect past the time they open up pre-ordering. That should raise a few red flags. Should that just be ignored?

Lol I don't care, I didn't even signup for it. The NDA was supposed to be lifted the 22nd. Heck probabley even before that for their supposed "open beta". I seem to have struck a nerve with you. You seem to be the upset one =/

 

You don't keep an NDA in place for the open beta for open trail as they put it. Even with the NDA in place games get leaked all the time. I have yet to see one before this one not leak tons of information. The only leaking going on with this game is about 1/10th the size of any game and it is 99% positive hand picked leaks from tasos himself probabley. So you would pre-order the game as is right now with NDA in place and no leaks during the "open beta"?

 

Don't get some mad fanboi. We can still play the darkfall forums game. Which seems to be the only legit thing they have brought so far.

It makes us realists. They are trying to hide something, that is the only reason they are delaying the game so long and not doing a open beta.

Speculation? Have you been blind for the past I don't know 6 months to be fair? Everything Ive said has been based on their actions over that period of time. Oh wait I forgot open beta came out a month ago and the game was released yesterday. Silly me. Also the NDA has been lifted and the 50 beta testers can freely leak the info for fear of not getting shot from people that are thousands of miles away.

Yes, becouse Blizzard, Mythic, and many more big companies are all new in this line of work and do not know how to run a game. It is not true what he is saying. A open beta is vital and mainly it is not about the feedback that comes back, but learning on how the server works.

Mythic infact had a way to short Open Beta and tier 4 of WAR was therefor not fully tested as in having loads of poeple there and you see what has happend. That is a company, who already created a succesfull MMO and had a bigger budget.

If there will be no proper Open Beta , with about 25K peeps invited running on one server (10K was there limit and it could be higher according to themselves), else there is a big change that the game will have big server problems, with they might not be able to resolve fast.

Before Blizzard had an open beta it really wasn't done much.  I could argue against open beta by saying that since WoW every MMORPG has been a failure and all have had open beta.

Launching poorly for only EU players would have the same effect.  The players who are in will be posting all over thier reviews of the game.  This game releases the 22nd whether they like it or not.  It will be judged by that release. 

Another thing to, if this is truely a stress test then US players should definetly be in. How else will they be able to tell if their servers can handle the connections from the US..IE high pings.
