Anyway here's why if your bothered

1. Glossy CGI cut scenes remind me of the turkey phantom menace. I have no interest in watching these.

Some of the cutscene are pretty cool

2. Quests- plain and simply uninteresting and boring. My spacebar was my best friend. Simply not interested in reading the quest dialogue after the first few. Yawn. 

 

3. The world is devoid of life. No sense of a Star Wars universe. Mobs are all grouped in 3's and don't move unless you aggro them. Just bad.

Yes they do, I noticed early on in the game none of the mobs were  attack on the their own but when you reach tatooine youll find mobs that run to you.

4. Inventory system reminds me of STO. Inventory  Items you pick up are small like in LOTRO and uninspiring. There's no appeal. 

5. Character creation is probably the worst i've encountered. Cyborg in the star wars universe?????  Choice of limited classes with either a stick thin body or a jabba the hut blimpoid. Didn't even want to customize my character as there's hardly any choice.  

6. Combat is button bashing. No flow. Some characters run like they've got a chicken up their rear end. Laughable.

Total bullshit right there. Swtor has one of the greatest pvp combat flow that i have experienced.

7. Graphics poor- Ok it has to cater to the masses but honestly this is 2012 and i feel like we are going backward in time from 2005 Vanilla WOW.

Grahpics are standard.  Better grahpics=less players= less support.

 Nuff said. Either you'll love or hate this game but for me and many its been overhyped. Thoroughly disapointed tbh as i expected so much better.

8. One final question- Where did all the money go on the development??? Oh yes Actor's voiceover fees.

Go through that list and you will quickly see they make alot of horrible games. Two recent games out of korea that i tried was SD gundam and Digimon world online, and i gotta say both are absolute crap like most of the stuff listed there.

Does not matter. WoW set the standard and it is point of relevance to all developers and players and not EQ or Merdidan.

So really get used to that, cause it is more relevant and logic to call f.e. Rift a WoW clone than EQ1 clone.

lots of people talk shit about bioware, but they are one of the few who actually make AAA games like mass effect. While other developers can barely put together 4 hour games.

I say korean games are shitty because all the koreans games i have played including final fantasy XI/aion/lineage, each one of those had a cool feature such as ffx1 class combos, or aion's animation system but other then those ideas the games were shit and had little to no support.

I couldnt agree with you more. I have never played an Asian game that didnt offer heavy grinding, unrealistic chainmail bikinis, huge cat like anime eyes, characters running with their upper bodies contorted to appear as if they had a corn cob stuck up their ass, or street fighter animated flashy manga insipred combat.  I just cant stand the whole asian culture so I am sorry if I offend you but theres a reason why there has not been a huge following of Asian MMO's culture crossed over to mainstream western markets.

I beg to differ. The only decent NA/EU MMO is World of Warcraft. Lineage 2, Aion, Final Fantasy XI, Ragnarok Online, and others have better art style, and a much better community in the TW region (except FFXi since everyone is on the same servers).

North American games are just not my taste, especially due to their art style. But the main reason why I hate playing North American games is because of people like you, you and your attitude make up for likely 3/4ths of a community in a North American MMO. Western society should adopt Eastern society discipline for raising kids: beat the shit out of them so they learn respect.

The giants who created/terraformed Azeroth also created other worlds (you can see the holograms of them in one of the instances up in Ulduar). 

The Warcraft lore goes a lot farther than I think a lot of people realize. They simply haven't used it all yet.

Most of the lore is used up, if you know the story the old gods are behind pretty much everything and are the only enemies left standing.  Any other villian from now on will simply be made up instead of taken from the story.

Sadly the event is going on in the polaris system which is 200,000 jumps away

Ill play Swtor for its pve story experience and on offtime ill do pvp in guild wars.

Defiently haft to try morrowind/oblivion/fallout series on pc, these games have one of the largest modding communities out there for pc allowing for  a truly customized experienced.

Cant wait for skyrim, thank god i have swtor  to hold me over these next few hellish days.

I will ignore the main quest right off the bat and venture through the lands. Do not plan to use quick travel, wonder if they have a hardcore mode like in fallout. If so i would defiently use that.
