Lets see, Vendetta Online is similar to EVE in the spaceship flying / trading area. It has a different combat system though which is based on player skill instead of character level. I would recommend it, but then again I play it and so I'm a bit biased. I used to play EVE before VO but like you I got bored with it. |

If you're looking for a ship-based-trading MMO you might want to look into EVE or Vendetta Online. |

If you want a good player-skill-based PvP game I would recommend either Vendetta Online or Planetside. |

You may want to check out Vendetta Online. It's a first person space-shooter. The battle system is entirely twitch-based and rather intense. There was a promo for it on mmorpg.com I think it might still be valid. |

It's been a long time since I've actually played an MMO that could compete with single-player or more traditional multi-player games in terms of gameplay. As for the dificulty some people seem to have at the beginning, I think that more than anything it's a result of the extensive "hand-holding" we've expericenced from most other MMOs. I don't see why a game can't expect it's players to think a little on their own. |

I think the name is the least important part of a game. If they end up having to change it, so be it. It will not take anything away from the gameplay. Too many games rely on marketing instead of actual quality of game, it's a shame in my opinion. |
