Well I am EVE, Ya I know darkfall new, but its been around 8 months since release, and AV lies a lot.

I still want this game to be what it was advertised. But like I said the time it takes AV to implement/fix certain SMALL bugs, I just do not see it possible for them to get any major additions inside the game with ease.

I asked about a Free Trial on the Forums yesterday and it the community acted like I was asking to impregnate their sister... I was totally nice and cordial about things and my thread got locked by a "MOD" who essentially accused me of wanting to play for free. Highlighted part is wrong. All skills in the game level 3x faster than they used to.  Also, regents are easy to come by if you know what mobs to farm. It easy to figure out after a few days of playing, or even asking people like myself which mobs drop the best/amount of regents. You can get 1k regents, which will level you up quite a lot now, in 2hrs easy. While you farm these regents you are also leveling you character so its a win win.

Please Devospice just STFU. You are wong on so many levels that its not even funny. Leveling 1 melee weapon, magic,  getting hit by mobs, and farming a bit of resouces like wood and iron will get your vit and str up so you'll have 300ish HP in a month or two quit easily. Macoring swimming, which is what you are saying, does not give the same gains they did when the game first launched. Auto Swimming every day for 10-15hrs gives approx .3 in vit and str after swimming reaches 100.

Look at the choices the char has for running direction .there is 2 ..go left (even i am not sure if going back to the left or even stoping is provided in these game) ..go right.. Darkfall supports directional move in any direction..eh ?

i am missing other player controlled characters on the screen, is this an MMO at all ..eh ? DArkFall vid shows many intracting chars ..i guess alone that forbids any  comparsion to that game ..eh ?

And in my opinion gameplay and graphics of Darkfall can compete with any MMO out there. AoC may has better graphics but Darkfall has better gameplay for example. So its your choice ..liking graphics or gameplay. The interaction in the Darkfall video was fast paced combat between many online characters, terrain played a great strategical role and playres fought over it , using various moves and no not alone wack, wack, but switching to different weapons and using different spells having to aim everyone of them to moving targets following  real time combat mechanics and not turn -based combat. Every element of what i listed and is to seen in the vid  is just up to date technology of MMO development   and not something used even 5 years ago let alone 20 years like haters claim.

Nice one Darth but you very conviently overlooked the frightening similarities both of those games have:

*They both had a nice idea behind them but it was nothing new or innovating it had been done by others already and better non-the-less (UO,SWG for Darkfall and a dozen other platforms/beat-em ups for Altered Beast i 'll pick my favorite one Wonder Boy)

*They both had that idea implemented poorly ( Altered Beast with it's unresponsive controls and outdated graphics [ yes outdated even for it's time], Darkfall with its clunky char. animations ,horrible U.I ,outdated graphics etc, etc, etc (i don't really have to name every single wrong turn Darkfall took to this day do i ?)

*They were both repetitive and grew old very quick making a new player not wanting to continue after the initial month or first quarter that went into the slot of the machine

*They both were adored by a very small fanbase that claimed that the rest couldn't play or appreciate  "their" game because it was  "too hard" even though the Altered Beast club wasn't as vocal nor as passionate as the one in Darkfall ,but i'm pretty sure that everybody that reads these lines knew somebody back then that claimed he could play the "X" game better than anyone else and that he was the best simply because nobody bothered to waste a quarter on it.

So next time please try not to overlook the point that was being made ( hint:outdated graphics)look at both sides of the coin not just the one that suits you the best, i know it's a bit too much to ask of you and a shot in the dark probably but i suspect that i might am a hopeless optimistic person deep down inside of me
