After barely two months since the start of the Dutch dofus community we’re proud to say over 50.000 players have registered on www.dofus.nl and are playing on the dutch server ‘Dark Vlad”. Making use of a grass root webmarketing approach and a focused media campaign on TV, Dofus is quickly becoming the fastest growing MMORPG’s in the Netherlands. Cedric Gerard, International Marketing Manager Ankama Games says; ‘We are very happy to see the player community increase so fast in the Netherlands. So far the Dutch speaking community has been one of the most friendly and enthusiast about DOFUS. We really look forward to having more and more players discover DOFUS and explore our universe.’ Dofus is a 2D fantasy MMORPG with a turn based strategic combat system and cartoony graphics. Dofus is run on flash player but don’t let that fool you — this is an in depth game with 12 classes, a crafting system, Faction/Guild based PvP and more. Dofus is a very popular game with over 10 million accounts created to date. Join the game and visit www.dofus.nl. Dofus is developed by Ankama Games and published in the Netherlands by UnitedGames. |

Starwars galaxies uses java. Java isn't as limited as people think, the problem is Jagex run it through a browser which is limited. I'd like my 100 bucks in cash please :)
He might pay you in Runescape-bucks :P called gp hehe... |

Once you are up and running, it's quite an okay game. If you are a little bit older you might have to look pass the cartoony style. It has a lot of quests and pvp stuff that make it even fun for the older ppl. |

I'm not surprised about this number. In Holland alone 40k people are playing. And that server is just open for a few months. In France it's way bigger, as it is in English speaking areas. |

Oh lol, yeah I'm Dutch. Aparently the word took a course on its own :P... Here it's not a descent word for it, though it's commonly accepted I guess. I mean I wouldn't know who would take offense to it. |

In fact scamming has become harder, although it's not yet impossible to misuse players or even real life trade. Real life trading still happens through the Bounty Hunter Cave where person.1. take a sara set into the cave and let's person.2. kill him. The penalty of 3minutes is often not enough for anti-reallife pk'ers to kill the offenders for they can tank over 3minutes. In some cases they even get help from clanmembers or friends who defend them by attacking the anti-reallife pk'ers (i just use this term freely here). A not illegal way to still sell your goods against a higher price then the GE or new trade system allows. Just add in junk in the trade. This was what happend on the last added quest: while guthix sleeps. The new armour and robes were sellable like this: person.1. obtained the items. Person.2. wants to have them no matter what. He offers for instance 3 milion gp. Normal trades wouldn't allow it. Though person.1. obtained during his rs carreer a lot of junk (read logs, bowstrings, runes, whack arrows etc). Normally these goods are hard or almost impossible to sell. They still have a value though ofcourse. When they are added in the trade suddenly person.1. can obtain lots of gp's.

Cool guide. There aren't much good guides in English yet. Looking forward to see new ones from you :) |

I think it's one of the more friendlier communities in MMORPG gaming. Players are very helpful. |

Guides are easily accessable. Talking on communities as tip.it and zybez.net will give you a lot of information on how to train your skills the fastest. Not for all skills lvl 99 is nessesary to have. At lvl 92 you're half way to 100%. Level 92 is for most skills good enough. As is 80 for non combat skills. Ranging and magic are quite fast to train. Ofcourse having money saves you, in some cases even a lot, of time. Ranging aviansies for example gives you quite the xp and quite the money. This money you can spend on magic and still keep a surplus in your bank to spend on other skills. When you train mining to for example 85 you can mine rune, which gives you around 13-15k per ore. Banking this will result in a LOT of money to spend. Like I said, you just have to find your ways in the game to make the money if you want it super fast. With a little more patience you can still level up quite fast and earn a lot of money.
