I would like to see more Old Gods & Titans lore.  Cataclysm sort of had it, with the whole Twilights Hammer / Shadow Council & Deathwing... but didn't have the same feel that Ulduar (one of my favorite raids ever) had.

Hopefully Blizzard will feel the need to step up their game with the upcoming expansion, I want to see what Blizzard might actually be able to do when they have a serious competitor in the same market.  Maybe brings some of the "A team" back onto WoW and make it interesting again?  

I only have one concern about SWTORs heavy use of high quality VO is how it will impact the release schedule for new content.  Will it cause content to be released at a slower rate, or will Bioware allow the quality of the VOs to decrease due to the need to push out more content?

It is definately one of the strongest features SWTOR offers, I just think it could also end up being a double edged sword.

I thought I heard somewhere that Rift wouldn't actually have expansions in the usual sense, but rather new content would just keep being released in content patches.  I can't verify the information, don't have a link, so it could just be mere conjecture.

That was actually a very entertaining peice of trolling.  I actually got a few laughs out of it, good find.

I could see this as a system that could encourage the growth of shipping guilds, mercenaries to guard caravans, etc.  Will be very interesting to see how it works out.

I bet that Blizz will pull a BC Sunwell moment again.  Black Temple was supposed to be the last raid instance of BC, but with Wrath so far off and people having no more raid content to accomplish, Blizz was pretty much forced to make Sunwell to give their hardcore raiders something to work on.  I imagine something like that will happen here.

Totally agree on Judgement.  The armor design has been crap for the most recent two expansions (TBC was okay).

Just an fyi, Alt + P will put you in "low resolution mode" which is good for when your in a town with hundreds of people on your screen.

Wow, sorry to hear that the European servers suck so bad.  Just figured I would ask since I saw quite a few Greek / German / French guilds forming, and generally I know people from those countries generally play on European servers.

Ah well, I am gonna give it a few days to settle down.  I just finished my first class transfer and ported to Gludio... yeah, its is absolutely insane at the moment.

I agree with the OP on some points.  I also played the beta this weekend, reaching level 13 as Jedi Sage.  I basicaly concluded that while the game is good, and fun at some points, I am not going to purchase the game.  

If I had to say one thing that impressed me about the game was the quality of the voice acting, but the gameplay felt too "Been there, done that" for me.  If you enjoy the game, more power to you and I really hope you have a blast playing it.

I just love how the OP clearly stated that this was only his/her opinion on the game, and suggests that people try the game out for themselves before coming to a conclusion.... yet the fans still feel the need to berate and insult the OP.

I can understand being a fan of a game and wanting to promote it, but the way people take it personally still astounds me.

Pfft, we all really know that SW:TOR isn't the cause of Blizzard's stock downgrade.  It is definately from L2 going F2P and FFXIV releasing 1.20!

Actually, kind of looking forward to MoP.  It will be an interesting take on the game when there is no "Big Bad Evil Ugly" that is trying to destroy the world.

The need for henchmen is ceratinly one element, it sucks needing this pack of NPCs following you around and NPC heroes are only marginally better.

Worse for me is the complete lack of explaination from ArenaNet regarding their game systems.   Hell, their developers have admitred in GW2 interviews where they mention the flaws of GW1 like how the  game just throws players into system with  massive number of skills and no explaination what they should do with them.  

 ArenaNet expects the community to provide all the support that THEY should be providing.    A game should NOT be about freaking HOMEWORK where you have to research how to make your character playable.  

 At the very least ArenaNet should supply official character builds or something so players can be sure they can at least be functional.  

The only reason I'm following ArenaNet is because they admit their mistakes and seem to have learned from it.   The problem is that this doesn't fix the  WRETCHED  flaws in GW1 that continually keep the game from being enjoyable. .   

I may still slough through the game just to see the story but it's about as much fun slamming my hand in a door over and over.  

I actually have the opposite stance on the massive amounts of skills.  I personally think it is GREAT that Arena.net doesn't hand hold us and tell us exactly which skills to use.  It encourages people to actually think about how they want to play a character, or what kind of loadout best suits their needs for the mission.  This mentality also might stem from the fact I also enjoy playing a CCG called Magic the Gathering, and I absolutely love building decks and trying them out.

Full loot FFA PvP.  It is not as popular as some seem to believe, and the proponents generally want to label it as "hardcore" to set themselves up on a pedestal.

I don't know about anyone else, but I think most people who enjoy Skyrim would not do so if there were much higher level monsters actively hunting them down and would lose all their gear when killed.
