It doesn't look as good as I thought it did from the previous GW2 videos.

This brought back memories of the Night Angel Trilogy. Nice back story and build up for the world.

My guess is that you will group with people so you can do things that you couldn't do without them. Crazy right?!?!?

I love the pricing model on Guild Wars and the future Guild Wars 2. No MT. No Monthly fee, but you pay for expansions? Okay!

I agree with MT's are bad when there's a monthly fee involved for sure.

If there's no monthly fee and the game is free, I get the MT's thing, they have to make money some way.

If you're charging a $15 fee for a game and you include game enhancing MT items, lame.

Cosmetic purchases can sometimes be useful though. ;)

I'd have preferred that blueprints were NOT single use (kind of destroys immersion - if I had a blueprint to build a car, why would it suddenly disappear after I've built my first car?)  Also, why are random ships patrolling the galaxy carrying blueprints?  To me, blueprints should only come as quest rewards OR through some form of seriously high-end raid.  That way, blueprints are relatively hard to come by, but also highly desirable to have.

I don't want to spend all night phrasing this question and the multitudes of variants, so I'll simply ask it this way.

Does this game not concern itself with duplicate characters? In other words, if you wanted to, could everyone in your group be playing as Iron Man if desired?

Is this really like choosing a class in another MMO, without the character customization?

I like the idea behind the story.

If it's a kids game, there should be no free chat. Chat should be selected through menus so you can only say pre-defined things. This stops my kids from reading stuff I don't want them reading yet.

This is going to sound like ancient Galaxies talk, but I'd like to see the smuggler doing some smuggling as well. Combat is cool and all, but Bounty Hunters need bounties, and smugglers need to smuggle.

I don't terribly hate the idea of races being restricted to certain classes, but I don't like it either.
