I won't go see a movie because it's a topic I'm interested in. I will however go see a movie if it looks like something I would enjoy and it seems to be done well. For example, I can miss Cowboys and Aliens, but I went to see the apes movie. Am I a huge fan of science fiction (hello, aliens!)? Yes I am, but I'm not going to see every invasion movie, every movie that has lasers, and anything with an unexplained creature. Am I a fan of gorillas and chimps? No, but the apes movie looked entertaining and I heard several positive things about it before I spent money on it.

I don't feel like lumping in comic book-themed movies as a group and punishing the idea because there have been fail movies. Just like I wouldn't automatically dismiss a Star Trek game coming out just because most of them have been complete failures. I would however exercise extreme caution before purchasing, because of the history.

In the LGBT community, isn't the concept that people feel they're born one gender, but internally they're really another? And so if that's the case, in SWTOR, they can actually be that other gender, and so balance is restored. amiright? Not gay here, so I could be mistaken.

too late, moved on.. good for those that are still playing though

mmorpg.com could change focus to "MMO's and RPG's", which would change this tired argument. You (mmorpg.com) could add games that fit into both or either category.

I'm new to LoL so I'm not nearly as jaded. This looks cool. More game with my existing hero's sounds great! Game on!

HoN's tutorial is slightly more useful, however I've been having a lot of fun in LoL.

I actually said that FW was "decent". I've pretty much quit playing it because I've found League of Legends to be more entertaining and productive to a complete entertainment experience on any given night, for me right now (with no active mmo subscription).

What I like to see in videos is more than someone running around, clipping through doors, falling, and in general, NOTHING happening. If it's a combat MMO, I'd like to see some combat. If it's a sandbox MMO, I'd like to see "life" in the world. Actually, the list of things I'd like to see is huge. What I don't want to see is one person running around on roofs, through halls, and falling down a building, to an anticlimactic nothing.

I don't know, now, if it bothers me or not. If I were designing the game, I wouldn't have class/race/equipment/weapon restrictions at all. I would have bonuses for certain races with certain classes and bonuses for classes and certain equipment/weapons. Maybe a negative for other items where no proficiency exists, so it would be somewhat prohibitive for out of class usage, but flat not allowing, that's lame.

Having said that, I really liked Star Wars Galaxies (v1), where you had professions and points to spend in those professions. So if you wanted to be a Master Rifleman and a little Doctor, go for it. Or a Carbineer with some pistoleer, fine. Hard systems aren't as fun, but they're apparently easier on the devs, or maybe they're easier on the players and so that's why they do that, so we don't have choices (DDO has choices, but it's nowhere near as successful as WoW, which has classes). Who knows? Not I.

I'm going to be a fuel truck-based transformer mage. I'll spec fire (obviously) and probably run delivery quests to level as herbalism won't be the best option from someone on the road. And since I'm picturing myself as a ground unit, obviously I'm more in the autobot camp.

If I can, I'm going to have a flame paint job and black leather seats.
