Buggy and unfinished eh? They fixed the big sync issue, worked their ass off for that. It now works perfectly. Server doesn't lag at all, very good ping, sync is pretty much perfect.

 

Only gamebreaking bugs are some of the mobs, that are exploitable. I understand if people get pissed about that, but you need to realize, that it is much harder to do nonexploitable mobs in game like Darkfall, FPS combat, no targeting game. In WoW for example, mobs just go evade mode and run back if you try to exploit them by not getting hit by them. That's the easy solution, and I hope Darkfall won't go that way.

 

But yea, please don't buy Darkfall OP, we don't want you there anyway :) Most of the players are having fun, and that's the main part of gaming. 

I agree with you i realy do, but what piss me off is the acc / order thing, they are just making it so dificult they realy dont decide about opening the shop or keeping it closed, i would love to understand the reason. It would be so good if they just said its full we cant sell now and we would be ok, but staying for 4days watching forum like crazy afread of geting another sold out and not being able to play for long time before they get more slot at server is get a lot of ppl crazy.

I just went out for 4hour on the pre-order they and was suficient to get a nice sold out in face , now for 4 days scare of it happens again.

For me no big deal with buggs exploid etc, each mmorpg have it and the actual most famous one was one of the most buged game ever at the begins.

Yes I was subbed at launch to War. After playing it 20+ levels, I found it a fair (good) game. That's it, there was nothing special and certainly nothing that warranted all the hype and PR money. It put me to sleep mid 20s and I couldn't shake that feeling. I found plenty right with the game but plenty wrong. The point is it was lackluster.

I have never said I thought War was a hardcore pvp game. But that was certainly the hype of it from Mythic and the Warbois before it hit the streets. It was supposed to be anti-Wow, but came off a lot like it in many ways. With big red arrows pointing you every which place and all but saying "KILL THIS HERE, RIGHT HERE!" the game was rather easy. The combat system I didn't care for really as there was no penalty.

It was like playing a bad version of CoD4 without the realistic weaponry. Rinse/repeat. Those were not my words calling WAR hardcore pvp. I was merely repeating what was said by their fans and the image it protrayed before release.

Well my bad then, i cant deny that what you just told makes perfect sense.

After reading that post regarding about the state of the game from the Associate Producer, something struck me as funny.

Just like you had a lot of WoW fanbois on the Warhammer site before release, during and after discussing and ripping the game, you have many Warhammer fans in here doing the exact same Darkfall. I see many of the same names who were posting such glowing reviews about War and its great Pvp ripping on this one.

Now War fans always said Wow fans were scared of War coming out because of the superior hardcore PvP content was gonna be worlds better and that's why Wowboys were on there; to bad ink their game. Well, the War fans kept assuring everyone, ANYONE who would listen that it was gonna be huge. I believe the word 'revolutionary' was used quite a bit. Yep, Sliced Bread v2.0. They pointed to the almost daily (it seemed) vids by the Hype Man with the beard, ranting and raving about this/that/and the other as evidence. The game had THISSSSS many servers. Wow fans would leave in droves and thats why the fanbois were on their site, jealousy.

Well, fast forward a few months and things havent gone as well as Mythic planned. Even despite a HUGE marketing effort the likes of which haven't been seen since Joseph Goebbels. Many serious pvpers and ex-DAOC players who had waited around for it promptly left after their month ran out, citing nothing but a huge eas-mode carnival themepark worthy of Wow comparisons. Many Warbois kept saying "just wait, give them time to fix the bugs and bring in the new classes, it'll be great then!" But for many, that boat has already sailed. They won't be coming back.

Warbois blamed LOTRO and Moria for their numbers going soft, paid Wow saboteurs for posting on their sites to kick the game while it was down and players who play Warhammer 'wrong' -not like the developers want them to play. "Just wait 'til Christmas time sales" has been the most recent Warboi rallying cry.

People left WAR to go BACK to Wow- a PvE game (a game MANY of them said they freely loathe but went back to) because they saw WAR as a WORSE alternative to a PvP centered game. If Darkfall fills a smattering of promise its fanbois hold for it, then I don't see how anyone could stick with War and call that hardcore Pvp. It would be looked upon as Pvp Light, just a cut above Wow. While Darkfall would get comparsions to DAoC.

I don't know when/if this game will come out, but if it does and does smoothly as that producer said about launch readiness, there will be a real shift and it would spell VERY bad news for War. If this game with minimal advertising hype and an extremely lowkey profile is actually able to come out on the market and have better PvP gameplay than Warhammer, then Warhammer is SO over and will earn a spot in the Niche History Hall of Fame.

If it never comes out or fails, it very well may be looked on as the worse failure in recent MMO history, making people forget all about Vanguard.

Either way, I really can't wait to see how this one is gonna turn out....

The game with best pvp ever is Risk you life and also hardcore one, not even close one with wow engine.

DarkFall looks like ryl a game without autoatack, that means you have to aim to your enemy and hit, and the swing of your's weapon hit every enemy at the range of your weapon. I cant get used to almost every mmorpg cuz when you want to mob u must have one char that have AOE skill, sux system.

I cant say DF is going to be that awsome game, but every thing into it.

All we can do is wait for the release and see if it's what we expected.

Obs: Not complaing.
