Ehh, why are you assuming he expected to be 1 hit?

He said -From when he starts attacking a mob, without dodge, he never go under 80% health, maybe he expected it to be a bit more challenging, say go to 20% health if dodge was never used, that would make it pretty important if you wanted to keep momentum, without having to rest all the time.

That would perhaps make it a bit more engaging.

Yep, I agree on this too...

I might be picking it up for a month of timekilling, and then I'll see from there.. But as it stands right now, I'm not expecting it to hold my attention for more than a month.

I wanted to play Illuminati too, but not if they start in NY.

The Templars doesn't appeal to me, religious or not.

No it is out of necessity in western market. P2P model of AIon can not survive onslaught of SWTOR, TSW in march and GW2. It is a smart move by Ncsoft.

I don't think  Aion is going F2P out of necessity, I think they are doing it because of the potential for making more money with the F2P model.

Most mmo's aim at young males, and young males either want to play a badass character, or something as slutty as possible, female gamers just have to cope, I'm sure some "womens liberation and equal rights group" will take it up in 20 years from now, but for now, they'll just have to cope.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that World of Darkness is gonna focus equally on male and female gamers, since there was a healthy mix of both genders in Vampire: The Masquerade.

So there you have it, when females in games become more common, and there is a market (ie. money to be made) on them, that's when we'll see a change in tone.

Imagine if females were the majority of gamers, males would have to cope with pink bunnies as mobs, and fireman outfits for armor.

Yeah, they will get their servers for their own region, so they can hack eachother and sell gold to eachother lol, brilliant.

But as others have said, farmers will just be using proxies, :/

Looks like a good game from all the videos around, but who knows, would be awesome if we had some english speaking koreans to give us some hints, or maybe an early review, cause I can't and won't play it without english text.

Nothing, killing time with BF3... until something releases, doesn't matter what, I'll play 'em all.

It was when it launched, you'd run out of quests at 30, and grind the rest of the way with the occasional quest here and there.

But I hear they added more, and also made the XP required to lvl up lower.

So if you want a mix of the 2, Aion should be your thing.
