It was a mix, but personally i think its a bit rigged, multiple voting on 1 thing  and it plans to finish on the day of the 10th anniversary, patches like this take time planning and development so if they release it on that day it's likely that they meant for it to happen regardless.

Bring back the wilderness and free trade vote, has hit over 200k in under an hour, Sell your items on GE now as prices are going to plummet due to said vote because of not only panic, but the return of farmers so hop on your account and dump your items people this is going to be an interesting ride.

A genuinely interesting, well made and well thought out article, holding some great points,  I'm guessing that from a standpoint of your hardcore gamer that MMO's are following the same progression as early games, Game play types increasing and graphics slowly getting better an educated guess would be that after this period is done it will either focus on 1 of 3 things, Heavy engine improvements allowing MMO's to have a much more interactive world and higher graphics using alot less resources like most single player games, a heavy increase in interactivity via human motion or (something thats already happing to this day) Heavy transgression to console gaming (to a balancedish proportion of pc mmo's of course) what are your guys opinion on this?

I wonder how many accounts have been created for wow and lotro and such, and at the same idea I wonder how many of those 50 mil accounts have over a day play time.

Well from the sounds of the current confirmed feature list it seems like the likely hood of this happening is very low, that being said artistic style wise I doubt there would be much difference, but I do not see this as a bad thing personally.

Website seems solid, content seems interesting and the forum seems to be starting up nicely, seems like this could lead to something good :D

It is truely a shame to see it come to this, personally I thought ROE was a good little game which was fun to pass time with, however it has become more of a annoyance of recent with the community put quite frankly going to shit, not the developers fault of course in fact they done whatever they could to help, it is just a shame to see it all end up like this, hopefully something can be salvaged out of it but I guess we just gotta sit back and see.

Personally I think that it is a shame that people just sit around and let things like this happen, unfortunately not much can be done about that I suppose, it does have to be said however that Obama is most definitively bringing "change" to America, yet is that change necassarily for the better?

One thing that does spring to mind though is that the likely hood is that you will need a hypothetical super computer to play this game which will most likely alienate a vast majority of MMO players and thus will make this game appeal to a niche of players, would anyone disagree?

So to summarise . . . The game Isn't "great" per se, but is very balanced, stable and still a "good" game?

Yeah that mount you get with your pre-order can only be used in the Borderland skirmishes, so ur looking at like lvl 70+ prolly lvl 80 before u can use it!

 

Only horses are available to ride in the world until then!

That mount can only be used in sieges, npc city battles and skirmish's which means level 40 up

You can use rhino's and mammoth's that you buy in game in the real world though, not only horses.

Oh a side note, The people from the NDA breaking site actually admitted publically that most of their information is over exaggerated. Plus most beta players now agree with it is NEARLY ready to be put out (but by far enough to be out for may 20th) and the ones that don't will not have played it in the past 2 weeks.

                         Age of Conan : Hyborian Adventures was aimed to be released on october the 20th but then had a extension until march to sort out unwanted features and such. Then the further delay was for removing bugs and polishing and within the first 1 - 2 weeks they released a 2 gigabyte patch,  and further patches have been introduced, alot of bug cleansing has been done so personally I don't think they are rushing it, I have faith in funcom on this, Besides all we must do is wait until April the 27th. If there is no mention of a delay then then it is hugely unlikely there will be one because that is when the Master Disk is used to produce copies of the game.
