Well, if you think about the races you can play as in this game compared to WoW, its almost the same. I have no problem with this, I think its just really ironic that they would be so similar. Gnome(WoW) - Hobbit(Lotr) Night Elf(WoW) - Elf(Lotr) Human(WoW) - Human(Lotr) Dwarf(WoW) - Dwarf(Lotr) I know this game will be nothing like WoW, but I wanted to just point this out. Thanks--->

LMFAO. Did you ever stop to consider where WoW got THEIR inspiration from? :P Lord of the Rings, maaybeee? You do realize Tolkien wrote these books over 50 years ago, right?
And, when they make a MMORPG based on Lord of the Rings, do you think they would make up own races just "to not copy WoW"? Hahaha. Man... Lolololol. Thanks for making me laugh though! |

You do know that most fantasy world as the same race right? You do know that there is other fantasy game than WoW right? You do know that WoW have not start anything new right? You do know that WoW was influence by others before him right? So please stop thinking that WoW started everything, it is not because WoW is the first MMO you played, means it is the only one. |

Argh, this OP makes me cry. WoW got all their ideas off other games, and concepts. Lord of the Rings is pretty much the original concept of orcs, hobbits, etc. Though you can probably bet that some of these creatures were made up even before Tolkien's time. And as for where WoW got their cartoony graphics? Well they didn't make up those either, they're from Mythic's WAR. |

all these races came from books. Tolkiens books are an example for a lot of races in different games. each game has it's own races that are different from each other. they may have similarities but in the world of today. Many gamedevelopers go for orginality. lotr is based upon the book but they have a created a world ,how you would imagine it on you own. they will go ever further. Wow has nothing to do with lotr |

That's good, there may be hope for Internet yet. P.S. Next time, use ".." or "..." to indicate the sentence is meant to have indirect meaning. A single full stop makes it look like a serious statement. |
