They have been here posting about this WONDERFUL game they have, but they have NO game. They use rendered art which IS NOT THEIRS. They have a couple of penciled sketches. They have no graphics engine and have not written a single line of code for this SUPPOSED game of theirs. I am sorry, but in my opinion, they should not have this listing on the forums, but should be posting their stuff in Developers Corner, not their own section of these forums, until they have something tangible to show as far as a real attempt at a game. Please look at every thread concerning Divergence throughout this site and you will see that most of us here, except for a few 2 0r 3 post people, do not even consider them viable and in fact relegate them to the same status as DnL. I understand you want to give every game company a chance on these forums, and I do agree that we should. However, when there is not even a game yet, they have not shown the least bit of intention outside of using other peoples graphic work and sketches, then thay have not shown themselves to truly be a game company as of yet. They are only spouting ideas. If this is all you need to have your own forum here, then everyone who post in Developers Corner should have their own forum space, too. |

Other than spouting ideas you must also: have a website and email the admin about "news". (The "news"-item can be as simple as 2 screenshots showing just the ground and some trees so dont try to hard). Also from stainglassllama´s own site: "We currently project greater than a 5 fold return on any investment made" Seriously this just screams Mourning & "D&L" all over it, but until the people involved actually start harassing forum-users and/or mmorpg.com it will stay in the list. Edit: Ok has anyone checked the acronyms list? Here it is in all its glory: That is actually on a official games website. I guess a bit of research (all 3 minutes worth) was not done to actually check if its a serious company or not. |

Oh Zorvan, you're such a whiner. If it bothers you that much, go elsewhere.
Obviously, SGL have done enough to prove to mmorpg.com that Divergence has earned its place here. |

This is just says that the developers have a sense of humor, showing devellopers don't just have to be a proffesional wall. it's an attempt at a joke, it's not supposed to be taken seriously |

Why is this game here, because its a potential mmo. If they flunk, they will be taken off the list simple as that. This is an mmo site showing the mmos being planned,produced ,and are already out. They are qualified to be here.Stop trolling.

the op is right there is rules to go by to get on the list it should be taken off.
if we not gonna follow the rules then we need to put games like stargate worlds on there to.

im talking game list/hype list it is not in there its in games in development we are talking about the first.
wich is the list that has rules to get on ones like the op said have not been made so it needs to be sent back to (drum roll) games in development.

I see, lots of lower ranked posters angry, just because someone higher ranked made a valid point. Hes right, if you check it out, its like. "Hey, check out my house" and me showing you a couple nails and a board.
