Extremely social. Don't bother playing without voice comms. Its also a PVP game, which alot of carebears hate, they whine on the Eve boards "waaah this guy killed me, nerf empire piracy."

No spirit healer to give you a kiss, War is MEANINGFUL, you lose your ship its GONE. It FEELS ruthless, but the mechanics always let you recover and rebuild. Nobody can drive you out of the game, just click the "leave corp" button and you can go back to nice peaceful life again. Only join a corp when you are ready for hostilities. Only join an alliance when you want hostility on a daily basis. Alliance = daily hostilities Corp = Possibility of war Solo = No war You're right, Eve doesn't deserve 8.4, it deserves 9.4 for being the best clan-based PVP game in history.

I'd say eve deserves a fairly high score, it's fairly unique in the mmo genre, and it's a fun game for casual players as well as people with more time on their hands. I do think adding some starflight/starcontrol-esque planetside stuff would make it a better game though. Shadus

WOW fans are the only ones that will bash at ALL other MMO while they are enjoying "go kill 10 wolves", "go kill 10 thieves", "go deliever this crap", "go deliever that crap", and "pvp" in a big arena called battleground which isn't even a part of the world... WOW is not a horrible game, but seriously it has NOTHING new, and it is just as good as half the MMO out there. I just fail to see why WOW fans think WOW is SO FUNNY... I already stated how WOW's PvE is. It is just some ordinary GRINDING, nothing more. And the "PvP" isn't even real PvP. You can fight in Battleground 24/7/365 and nothing will have a bit impact on the WOW world. Basicly battleground isn't even a part of the world, it is just one isolated arena. Aside stupid pointless battleground, most other players do Duel which is also pointless + carebear. The only PvP in WOW actually is a little closer to real PvP is the opposite system designed sides fight each other. BUt how often? How large scale? Can you capture enemy territory? Can you make them suffer when you kill them? Nothing. None of you do in PvP in WOW will have any reward, nor penalty, nor any impact to change the world at alll. NOTHING! And that's about it about WOW. Nothing special, nothing good. Just one ordinary grinding MMO with some fake PvP.
