We're not done with 9Dragons yet today. In a special double-feature, Ken Johnson also runs us through the game's crafting system. While we will have a Clan Feature every week for six weeks, the bi-weekly developer journals will also continue as scheduled. You can read the full article here. Dana Massey |

Sorry, but that isn't crafting. Unless I'm entirely mistaken you cannot make a sword or a shirt in 9Dragons. You can only improve an item's performance. It sounds like there is no skill involved so one man may improve the stats of an item as well an any other, given the same materials. So there can be no crafters either. This is not to say that the item improvement system won't be fun. It may be. But please don't call it "crafting". That sounds intentionally misleading. If anyone who has actually played the game can comment, that would be great. I plan to give it a try. |

This is what happens when you visit their web site in Firefox (and I would guess any browser other than IE). It's absolutely unacceptable and is an embarrassingly bad practice. You either have to go out of your way to break a web site in browsers other than IE, or simply not know wtf you're doing. Not only that, there is no useful information (or any information in general) on their web site to begin with. There's some nice artwork, some spiffy CGI movies, and links to other sites (such as this one) for the actual information. You can take your site, roll it, and smoke it. Deeply annoyed, Playing: SWTOR | Awaiting: GW2 | PC Specs for tech or performance discussions |

Yeah, their site is pretty awful (the forums here have more info than their whole site). The only useful thing on that whole site is the beta sign-up form. Lets just hope the reason why is because they are too busy working on the game to work on the site. |
