The third developer journal from Spellborn International profiles the Rogue classes and what types of feats players can expect from them. You can read this article here. |

I really like some of the skills. Although I still wonder how the tricksters stealth exactly works. Does it make him invisible (while throwing up the mirror image) or will he really be stealthed (and thus possible to see if someone looks really well? |

good question, there's the possibility for cheating I guess when it comes to really being invisible (hacks that make you really invisible can probably be abused real easily). Guessing you won't completely disappear.
Wonder how that would balance out anyway, being invisible, active/involved combat system, wonder what the penalty is going to be (slower movement?). Has to be fair for other classes or at least they have to be able to counter it. |

The healing cloud thing seems kind of funky, heals for a while then poisons? So is it going to help and hurt both friends and foes?

Even if that particular skill 'does' effect anyone standing in it's radius ( friend or foe ) I can still see certain uses for it that could be helpful -- think of it like a trap might be used in other games where you'd innitiate an attack at range while standing in the healing cloud, drawing the target(s) in and then move beyond the cloud's radius once the degen effects kick in. Just one example of how it could be used to it's full advantage and surely there's many others. As for the article itself I do have to say that I'm enjoying some of the new spins CoS seems to be putting on what many other games have turned into somewhat stale class archetypes. Good stuff so far , keep it up |
