So, the demo is out for this one. DL'd it and gave it a quick spin. The overland setting straight out of Warcraft 3. The knight hero looks like a WC3 knight, flora looks like a straight cut and paste from WC3. The HOMM combat is still fun. I didn't play very long, but defending until the AI gets close enough and then swarming still works well, unfortunately. Maybe some more tactical strategy will open up with more armies. Not sure how this one will pan out. Anyone else try it yet?

I haven't, but I did consider it. I was never a big Heroes of M&M fan though. The screenshots looked decent I thought. Personally, I'm waiting for Dark Messiah. I always thought the original version of M&M was better than Heroes. Granted, the Elder Scrolls series has dominated fp rpg, but M&M has always been fun. Hopefully Dark Messiah won't be like the last one

I remember back when the public beta was available for download, and Penny Arcade reviewed it, they said the game was utter garbage, said it was literally unplayable.

Maldach, I don't know if you noticed, but theres only so many ways to make a knight or an orc. I.E. Warhammer = WoW. It doesn't like identical because the graphics are so much better.
