Jon Wood continues to report from Atlanta, Georgia, the site of this year's SOE Fan Faire. In this second blog entry, he summarizes what he's seen so far.

Well, day two here at the Sony Community Summit has come and gone, and today’s experience was quite a bit different from yesterday’s. Beyond the fact that I thankfully didn’t have to do the dreaded air travel thing today, the atmosphere seemed to go through a bit of a change. Last night, it was all about socializing, and meeting people. Today, it was down to business. Now, I don’t want to give you the impression that it was a painful experience, or that it wasn’t fun and relaxed. Fact is, there is a reason that SOE holds a Community Summit. They are looking to talk to the game’s players, and find out what they have to say.

You can read the full report here.

Maybe they do maybe they don't...I, for one, say they don't! If they are so concerned and really do care about what we, the players, have to say, they should have listened to us before the CU or better yet, the thing they call the NGE (actually, they should have told us about the nge, not pop it on us with a days warning).

SOE is dishonest and in fact really do not care what WE, the players have to say about anything. When they don't like what is being said about the NGE on the game forums, they delete the entire thing. I believe that these "community summits" are nothing more than a tax write off at the corporate level and a means to spread their worthless propaganda. If they in fact cared about US, the players, they would roll the game back because as it stands, SWG is broken and is beyond repair (the last patch proves that).

So eat their food, drink their drink...it's the only thing that is actually worth anything and remember...WE, the players paid for it!
