The Chocobo breeding 'mini-game' in FFVII is one of my favorite experiences of any video game/RPG I've ever played. (Hence the login ID). I would love to see a 'crafting' skill that enables players to breed and train mounts with variable features for size, strength, speed, endurance, intelligence, jumping...any number of variables. A mount breeder/trainer might also be able to train animals to come at certain commands, give bonuses to a rider's mounted combat ckills, attack anyone who tries to ride them other than the owner etc, again a potentially versatile arena. I can see this as a wonderful addition to the proposed economy and another original twist to what appears to already be a very innovative offering. It would add another high demand item beyond the traditional 'need the uber weapon/uber armor' for serious cavalry minded players, as well as opening up opportunities for races, jousting and other non-combat PvP competitions. |

90% sure they have already said there will be breeding in DFO, not sure if it will be like a mini game or a skill but there will be breeding I think.

I agree. While Horse Breeding isn't my cup of tea, diversity is great, and all the little side games can add diversity in an otherwise boring game. Fishing is one of those fun little side games. Hopefully we see some form of gambling system in the game as well.

Sounds great, breeding if not already included in DFO (Don't recall stumbling upon it) would be an excellent idea.
