I agree....If you have your friends with you, and you're out hunting, goofing off and having a good time, it takes no time to gain skills... I would love to go back into the game and do the things over with my friends...It was fun the first time, and it'll be fun the second time... |

And I thought I was an idiot these guys take the cake. You know this is a SWG thread, not some limp dick silly ass political military thread hosted by arm chair commandos. So please oh please big daddy get back on topic, dis is giving me gas. BioWare will do a wonderful job on this game, and there seems to be a growing amount of suggestion that BioWare Pandemic are taking this over, there is talk that there will be an annoucement next Month in April by BioWare about there new MMO. Sounds like there will be a brand new Star Wars MMO. Original SWG will probably limp along then until someone pulls the plug; or will they pass the baton to Bioware and let them enhance the player experience of the existing subscribers??? I doubt if SWG can be "re-made", I mean, it would be nice and all if people could get an equivalent level character and stuff, but I don't see it happening. My guess is that SOE (being who they are) won't release their game, subscriber base or their code to Bioware and everyone will just have to quit SWG and join the new one. But in the long run their might be a very nice MMO for Star Wars fans eventually, if they can take their KOTOR techology into an MMO. |

So... out or curiousity.... soe has no control over SWG anymore, so the reinactment servers are legal? Does this mean u cant get in trouble if u register for one of those? Just curiosity.

Bioware makes a studio in Austin, TX - hires two top tier guys that used to be involved at the top level of SWG (Rich Vogel was Executive Producer, and Gordon Walton was an Executive Producer and Studio Manager at SOE). Plus I get beat with the big bad banstick at the SOE SWG forum for posting a link to some Bioware job listings.
Certainly makes for good rumour fodder if nothing else, but damn there are some striking coincidences afoot. |

Bioware is not about to take over SWG, cause they already press released that they are working on their own mmorpg but it's for sure that Starwars Galaxies won't survive 2006 no mather how many rumors you already read, I can guarantee that it will be shutdown during the next few months... poor subscriptioners, who got no idea whats coming their way and keep on wasting ingame-time shame on SOE, let's hope this company gets the justice they deserve one day.
