How about we see more than 1 or 2 of these "next gen games" cater to mac users?? Virtual PC won't support 3D and it's not always cost effective to yell at someone and say "meh go buy a PC." I use a PC myself but I have alot of guildies who use Mac. We won't be able to participate as a guild in any of these up-and-coming games hardly.
Darkfall would have been awesome to go to, but we'll more than likely pass it up unless a Mac/Linux version is made. Apple's now using the pentium chip, their computers are becoming more affordable; it's a growing market. Why are game developers passing it up? At least Blizzard consistently tries to keep the mac community included. ~The WyvernWulf~ |

Though I also use a PC I wouldn't mind seeing the games coming out being multi OS possible. I mean if you do expand your compatability wouldn't it make more sense because then mac users would subscribe and ultamitely increase how much money you make. It's odd how most companies just don't see this simple fact. |

I think its because it cost alot more to develop a game into 2 OS's and Darkfall has allready been delayed alot. Allso the majority of ppl who play mmorpgs proberly use a PC and not a MAC. Personaly i dont mind multiple OS games but i think they are just that bit more expensive to develop. |

Sorry, Apple just does not have anywhere near the market share to warrant dual OS programming for most developers. The ones that have been made Mac compatible were made that way only because the devs new they had a smash on their hands already, and mac user's money was just icing on the cake. |
