World of Warcraft

Hi guys, as we all know (hopefully) WoW: Burning Crusade will feature 2 new races. One of these races is the Blood Elves, which are a new member of the horde. Well I was wondering what you guys think the other unannouced race may be and wether or not it will be for the alliance or the horde.

I heard it would be Pandaren, and personally i'm happy. But I also heard Dranii(sp) or Dryad(sp)

That would be an interesting choice for Blizzard to make but I'm happy with it personally.

Anyother predictions?

They've denied pandas already. and truthfully seeing pandarens as alliance would sadden me greatly.

Pandas are a joke race that were fleshed in a little in WC3:FT.

Supposedly the Night elves slaughtered them. illidan has little pandas on his weapons as a rememberance.

So i REALLY doubt they are going to be on alliance side anyway.

Illidin isn't part of the alliance.

They screwed things up with all of this. Blood elves on the horde side doesn't make any sense at all. The horde has no intentions of allying with a race that has any affiliation with demon races. What they should have done was make a new faction entirely so that they wouldn't screw up warcraft lore. They should have made Illidin's armies a new faction with Blood elves naga, drainie and something else. Of course I think Blizzard has thought on this and found that they didn't want to have to produce four new races.

Ive thinked of a few races thats possible.
1. Centaurs, how cool wouldnt it be to jump around on 4 legs! :D
2. Murlocs, Gleghweewehwe
3. Furbolgs, no really... but still a cool race
4. Hopefully it'll be a new race from Outlands

Blood elves make a decent amount of sense actually. Who usually offers more sympathy to a drug user than a former drug user? thats what demon magic was to the Orcs. Thats what Demons are to the Blood Elves. The alliance has no sympathy because... they're a bunch of jerks. Aparently Illidan went kinda crazy after Arthas whooped him and kale'thas and whats-her-name-naga-princess were bound to him. The rest of the Blood elves felt that it wouldnt be the best idea to go down with the boat.

And even though illidan wasnt part of the alliance thats not what i was saying. Illidan HIMSELF did not kill all the pandas, the night elves were the ones to went to war and wrecked the pandaran capital. Illidan has the pandas on his weapons as a memorial.( I do love the angry pandas on the FT version of him)... and remember if this sounds a little absurd, the pandarans are a joke race that, i think, the devs got a little attached to.

It would be nice if they were ingame and not playable, pandas that is.

druids are strange enough. The game doesn't need pandarens.
