you said you didn't want to pvp or raid for end game content. But end game content in all mmo's are either raiding or pvp or both.
So are you saying you don't want end game content? and you also said you wouldn't play a game just because the end game content is pvp or raiding.
So since all mmo's have this it really seems like you saying you just want to play offline rpg's where the end of the game is the end of the game.

I can tell you that the game is huge. Just how huge? Well, a great many people consider World of Warcraft to be a large world, yet just one of the four starting continents of Vanguard:Saga of Heroes is twice the size of the entire World of Warcraft. Here is a pretty accurate picture that shows the sizes of the continents to scale: http://img315.imageshack.us/my.php?image=wownthestra6wz.jpg He stated that every inch of the world will be full of content. I doubt there will be much routing back and forth. They do not need to. Matter of fact, the caravan system and they way traveling works goes against back and forth type of traveling. You do not hearth back to town at the end of every play session, as there is no teleporting. There are also no flight paths right now, and there won't be unless the devs feel they are neccesary. There are mounts, very early on in the game, and ships that you can build, sail, upgrade, fight with, and go in between the continents yourself with no zoning al la WoW. |
