One thing  love about the game is that the first few days tends to eliminate the immature and the unworthy. IMO the community is one of the best things about the game.

pvp in eve is high likely better than wow BUT

pvp in wow has alot of coinsequenses for example if one faction has more people than the other faction than some land pieces became unavailable for the faction that doesn have that many people or they jsut don't work to gether like the other faction

ill give an example there is a world piece called stranglethorn vale
it is a level 30-40 zone and there is always a higher powered and a lower powered faction it doesn't show in a score board or anything like that but it is there and you feel it when you go play in that zone the only reason that you don't see it obviously is cause they are not fighting HARD for it cause there are no bonuses to win by it
but like you think that pvp in this game can't change the world, it does :) try leveling there when youre faction is out numbered there :D youll just get the beating of a life time :d

and no i am not saying that if youre faction has lower population that you are automaticly in a bad position just work to gether and all will be well

They played WoW a few month, many of em have different lvl 60 toons and just miss the endgame concept. There has to be more in a game then just 'get the best items'.

And to the dewd calling you a 'retard':
I didnt saw that the first time, overread that - what he said isnt really nice indeed, but to come up with arguments like 'your a stoopid lil kid' etc doesnt prove that you're any better !!

I wouldnt response anything to this, I'd just ignore it if someone calls me a retard because of my opinion i share with others. Noone has the right to insult you for just an opinion. But if that is even getting near you, then you may have a problem, who knows.

i have no use to prove my self the only reason i am here is to let people know that this news post on mmorpg means nothing

to let people from other mmorpgs understand that wow is the best if you need proof of that just look @ the number of people that are playing it and if you still don't think wow is better than omg what proof do you need ? and if you say that eve is just not popular cause no advertisiment well if they had more money they pbb would do it but they don't have money cause no one wants to give alot of money for that game otherwise there would be advertisiment won't it?

it is maybe hard to get it trough some people thick skulls but just get that fact, eve has some better aspect but in general wow is better

the only reason that some people play eve rather than wow is that they have different taste in gameplay and they like the aspect that are different than wow but that doesn't make the game better

if you really love hard core pvp than it is normal for you people to be there cause wow doesn't have that

there is only 1 softwarecompany that was able to make something that is worse then there rivals and has most people the only reason for this is that they were first to release there software and that was microsoft

Perhaps EVE shouldn't even be listed on this site as it's supposed to be for 'Roleplaying' games?  I played EVE for about 3 months but never once encountered anyone rp'ing!

I think the reason they've done so well in the awards as that they've actually managed to run an online game without pissing anyone off.  People mainly leave out of boredom rather than because of game changes/balancing issues.
