I started playing 2 weeks ago and I've been selling most of my items to NPCs. Is there any reason I should be keeping quest items (assuming they arent' better than what I already have)? I played AC1 and often newb quest items were very good, even at the highest levels, or they were used later on for other quests or could be upgraded later in the game. Is this the case with WoW or am I safe just selling things? I'd like to know what to auction. I'm 31 right now. Will I be finding anything worth auctioning? I've only been getting green text items and I've been selling them. Even if I find a blue item (that's a low level req) is it worth a crap? Again I recall back to AC1 where there was only a market for high level max stat items. Is there a market for low level equipment in WoW? Also what do I do with the trade goods I find? Like silk, wool, meat, gems, silver, whatever, stuff I can't use. Should I be stock piling these and eventually sending them to auction or should I stick to selling to vendors? Or should I even save some of these things for myself for later on in the game? |

For quest items since they are already soulbound to you, you can just sell them to an NPC if you do not need them since they cant be used for anything eles. Other items that you find and you dont need you should put them up on the AH at a ammount that it would sell and you still have a profit. Expect dont put up grey or white items, but any other like green set it up on AH. Also if the item is blue it can sell for ALOT more then you think...like 5-10g more then a NPC gives you. EDIT: The trade goods are used for professions like linen = first aid, if you dont need these items try AH if they dont see there then NPC it, before you put something up on the AH check what others put the item up for. BTW what server are you in and race/class ? |
