i just got the trial client and when i login it says i cant find the patch file. so i went through the faq and tried to figure how to get past this. no luck for me. ne 1 experince a problem logging in with patch trouble?

If you downloaded the cilent a few days ago (or even weeks), then you don't need any patch, since there has been no change to the game's version number for a few months now (current version is XX82 - iirc), and you see if your version is incompatible (it says "incompatible" in red letters at login screen).

The only three things that I can think of and which are related to patching is that you have either a very old version of the game (download a newer one), or that you wanted to login onto the Testserver (if that is the case, then please choose Tranquility instead of Singularity), or that your firewall/proxy/router screws up the autopatch function (download patches manually)
