Dark Age of Camelot

Okay, so Atlantis is out of the way... mainly, DAoC's answer to EQ PoP (let's kiss all the Epic Players' bums so that they'll stay interested). All PvE. All the time.

Now, they need to add a RvR ONLY expansion. Do it like Atlantis. Here's the pitch...

For hundreds of years, the Celts, Brits, and Norse fought over the Isle of Man. This is real history, not legend. Why not make this the site of a new RvR expansion?

Make it instanced, like ToA... but instead of every REALM having their own shard for the new island, make it that every LEVEL GROUP has their own shard. Like the BGs, only 10x bigger. Put cities in there, and citadels, and hard-stand seige weapons, etc. etc. etc.

Make it so that you can actually take cities from the other teams... loot and pillage their merchants, set up your own... and, get this, you could actually bind there.

Add the bells and whistles from Atlantis... with underwater "ninja routes", ship travel, hell, even ship-to-ship combat. Amphibious assaults, etc.

In addition, add an EXP BONUS to ALL RvR... not just on this island. Let's face it; in the time it takes to kill one yellow enemy in RvR, you could kill 10 yellow mobs. So change EXP to reflect that. Don't boost it TOO much, or no one would ever PvE anymore, but just at 150 or 200% bonus... making a yellow player equal to a red mob for exp value.

That's what I'D like to see. I love RvR, but a lot of the time, it just seems like pissing in the wind. I think that an expansion like this would, in a small way, at least make it feel more meaningful. Like PlanetSide tried (and failed miserably) to do.

Ya its RvR .....But from what i hear in RvR its zerg now more.. and some dont like it...My server is alot different... we dont have rvr.... and i like the new expension.. of the way the redisgned everything... its just the bugs i can live with out... but thoes will be fixed in time..
