Thanks for the post... Sort of wish there was more to it then just a fly by of a dark temple at night. It's "nice" but I wouldn't say it was enough to get me excited. Perhaps if they showed just a little of the characters in the game. |

I really liked it. I felt like everything was in proportion and good style. They did a awesome job making the ruins look like Nature was reclaiming them, unlike some games where they just through on a few cracks, some rubble, and a big green blob on top and call it good. What really did it for me was the ambient sound, was definitely an "oooooooh, aaaaaaah..." moment. ..................................... ...but time flows like a river... ...and history repeats... -Leader of "The Fighting Irish" in DAoC on Hib/Kay- |

Pretty good looking. I'm getting a real sense of immersion. Anyways gotta remember this is still alpha and its probably gonna go under a few changes and there are probably quite a few things missing. This area is gonna look awesome on release |

You know what worries me about this game? With a unbound love for the work of Robert E Howard I'm going to buy this and play what is looking to be a beautiful single player game that really captures the Conan feel, play all the way though it offline then log into the latter MMO part of the game to be faced with "lol d00d i am teh uber l337 rouge how cum u only lv14 whor3 I got too 20 in a weak!!!!one!!!11". Flame on, but as a Howard fan I find that a little more upsetting than normal.

It looks good, but, It felt like it was missing something. Maybe some background music...something with a jungle drum kinda Conan/Kong Soundtrack beat to make the sound fuller. The ambient sound makes the trailer quiet, and the pan makes you anticipate a big finale in the trailer to grab you, but alas it does not. If the jungle beat music was added and slowly accerlated with it stopping ubruptly at the end, I think it would have more impact. Kind of like building you up and just stopping so you are in the "NO!...Give me more" mode. |

Looks nice but...just a little friendly advice to the peeps at Funcom. When releasing a promotional video, remove or decrease the level of the crickets chirping. If you are getting the message about "Sorry this download is exclusive" this means that you have some kind of tool that is blocking your HTTP_REFFERER value from being sent from your browser. There are snap-ins for Firefox for this and some Anti-Spyware and Anti-Virus programs can do this as well. Basically GameDaily is trying to verify that you are coming from MMORPG.com and it can't see that in the referrer...
