I wish soe would sell the pre-cu swg to someone, i'm sure we could get enough people in to fill a few servers. I'll never understand why they didn't keep some classic servers, makes no sense to me. In the meantime i'm still looking for an mmorpg with a similar crafting/resources system but no luck so far. I miss the old swg :( |

Awesome suggestion !!! I have a bunch of friends that would come back today if this were an option. Get rid of SOE and have a decent company pick up the game and then just let us play it. Maybe add new contest periodically and fix any issues that come up. Don't try to nerf that game into a completely new game every month just to attract subscribers from other games. SOE - just leave your hands off the game and let us play and you can line your greedly little pockets a lot faster than you can using your current strategy. SOE = a company who cares less about their loyal core customer base
Once again I hope your suggestion goes through because I will be right there in SWG with you and a lot of other folks that miss the real SWG and not the planetside console turd it has become. |

and actually if they would make a totally different game with using the same skill sytem / same graphics - Id still play it (even if it's not related to sw)

It's a great idea. But you know SOE, it would take away from the width of their wallets, and when that happens, they freak out and make a new expansion. SOE is too hard headed to realize that if they hand the rights to SWG over to a company, that, you know, doesn't suck, they can revive SWG. But they wouldnt do that, because their cash cow EQ is dying, and they need every half ass game they have to try and save themselves. Way to go SOE, you managed to screw up a Star Wars MMO. |

I made a trial account and can't even get into the galaxy where my freinds said to play. Said I had too many characters on that server when I have none!!!.

If the SoE cant sell the rights of SWG because they need money, could they just sell the rights of only the classic game, and let the new company make a new name for it or something like that... |
