(Luke) I don't believe it! |
Hello, My name is Antoan and I play SWG since two years. The new proposed game-changes will limit the professions to only 9 and mostly combat, so I'm looking for a new MMORPG game who has many non-combat professions like:
Can you recommend me another MMORPG game who has that? Thanks, Antoan |

I can feel your grief man. SWG used to be the ideal game for you, as for me. But unfortunately SOE had a different opinion |

World of Warcraft has a lot of what you mentioned. They have Chef, Tailor, Engineer, Weaponsmithing, Armorsmithing, Fishing, etc. I would say Everquest 2 but I didn't want to mention SOE games ;) |

Hey Segurant, I'm currently playing WOW, but there is no player-driven economy and most of the items are looted. Other problem is that items can be repaired, so you have to buy a wappon only once. This makes crafting somehow redundant. I can understand that, since WOW is more like a combat strategy game, and its focus is on the combat to be ballanced, not on the crafting. Thanks for your reply! You are one of the few who actually replied to me :) and thanks for not mentioning SOE games ;) Cheers, Antoan PS: "http://www.darkandlight.net/sog/indexEN.html" looks realy promissing, especially with the idea of giving us an empty world, so we can create it as we want it. Also the community is great - the game is not yet released but I'm already in a Light guild, and we're making plans for our first game session (hopefully for this week-end if the game is released) :) |

Hi Fadeus, DAoC was in my list of must-see games but somehow I neglated it so far. I'm currently downloading the 14 days trial and will definately try it after your recommendation. Thanks, Antoan |
