Quake 4 came out today. Is anyone else playing? I've only gotten through like 10 minutes of the single player so far, so I won't make any judgements yet. I popped on the multiplayer too real quick and I suck |

Nope, i heard its not that great. I liked Quake 3 and the original, but I never got into 2. Apparently they were supposed to be trying to make the multiplayer as good as Quake 3, but from the reviews ive read it sounds more like multiplayer was just tacked on without much effort put into it. |

Man, who rates a game that quick? Yo Orcc, you should by it. A console verson hasn't came out has it? My dad loves quake, but I think his computer is like the minimal requirements. |

Quake and Quake 2 will go down in history as 2 of my all time favorite FPS's. Especially the fisrt Quake because it was so evil feeling. It kinda felt like you were in Hell or something. But then for some strange reason the Quake series took a turn for the worst by having you fight Aliens. Why Aliens? I'm tired of fighting Aliens. I probaly wont get Quake 4 because it looks like another Sci Fi FPS. I'd really like to see a FPS set in a dark Gothic setting. |

I remember old school quake too back then. I liked the first one. Sometimes I thought it was too evil lookin and kinda scared me sometimes. What is the storyline of Quake though?
All I remember from the first one is a bunch of crazed people. |

Yeah thats why I loved the first Quake so much. It's was a freaky sorta evil. Not goofy evil like Doom 3 but a psychological type of evil. You know the first Quake didnt have a story at all I dont think. You pretty much started out in these dank dungeons full of creepy and sadistic looking demons. Which is why when Quake 2 came out with it's Sci-Fi based story I was deeply confused. |
