World of Warcraft releases 3 new fan art pictures, the first was created by Lee Sang Rok (rok) , the second Diana Elefteridis (Kalis) and the third by Jisuk Cho  .

As usual, along with the fan art, WoW has also released a brand-new wallpaper image.

Finally, the folks over at Blizzard bring to us their new "Battleplan Volume 2". The Battleplan details plans leading up to "Blizzcon and beyond".

Since the last World of Warcraft Battle Plan, much has happened in the Warcraft universe. We’ve launched Blackwing Lair, the highest level dungeon in the game, we launched World of Warcraft in China and Singapore with great success, and work continues on adding even more content for our players.

BlizzCon is quickly approaching, and we're preparing the lineup of programs, dev chats, and the concert to be held at our inaugural event. I’m very happy to announce that we'll have the first public showing of the expansion for World of Warcraft at BlizzCon. Attendees will be able to view the work that is going into the project and hear some of the eagerly awaited details. To those of you who won’t be able to make it to the show, please keep an eye out for the game magazines that will be hitting newsstands right around BlizzCon, because some of them will feature in-depth articles on the expansion with plenty of information about how World of Warcraft will be evolving.

For this Battle Plan, we want to take the opportunity to look ahead to what our players can expect in the coming months leading up to BlizzCon and the expansion announcement.

Well so much for that post on the Battleplan update. I checked the link and the thread was deleted.

Looks like more smoke and mirrors from Blizzard.

Their forum is hosed.  Probably ALOT of people wanting to read it.

I'm not expecting anything special though.  But I've already given up and moved on.

lol to the person who though it was smoke a mirrors.
The forums were hammered so hard cause people were telling everyone about the post.

Basically, the post was about a new questing zone, 2 new raid dungeons, 4 new outdoor raid bosses. Hero class details will be announced during blizzcon, and that they are adding new things to Darkmoon faire as well as a halloween themed event.

They also noted, changes to paladins and Druids very soon, with shamans, mages, priests and rogues to follow soon after.

I for one am rediculously excited about these new changes. especially the Hero Classes!

Having read the "battleplan"  I can honestly saying, it's every bit as lacking as the original one.

But whatever.  I left the game, and see nothing in writing here to bring me back.

Would be nice if the gutless wonders would at least put some kind of timeline on this thing.
