People have asked since release for FPS style movement (arrow keys, etc).

Its a development hurdle. Go for the gold, create and allow FPS movement and BE DONE WITH IT! I think it would do more good than bad for the server, because charactor's would have to be tracked, and would help with the sync issues. Its 2005, servers are 10x faster than when the game was designed, lets use that speed to add fps movement.

Yea, WASD movement is probably the best change to be made to this game. I really dislike the point and click movement.
