I am going to become an alliance starfighter pilot and have got the required number of xp to gain the next skill level. So I look around and have asked so many different rebel pilot trainers but they tell me to go back to my own unit!! whats going on? |

There are THREE rebel pilot units .. and everyone of those has 3-4 trainers each. There is only ONE trainer responsible for you at any given point of your career. Which of the three units have you chosen ? Did you get your starter ship already OR what tier pilot are you (assumption 0 or 1) ? Have fun Erillion |

Ok .. try this .. http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=pilot&message.id=61751 And THIS is the important part : Starting Out:
If you don't have one already, your first squadron trainer will provide you with a starter ship (though some trainers may need more prodding than others). These ships will have all the basic parts you need to complete your first missions, but you may wish to buy others from the bazaar or your local shipwright. To load up these new parts, simply open up the "Manage" screen from the starport terminals where your starter ship is parked and you'll be able to swap parts in and out. Have fun Erillion |

Tier is the level of the pilot. Four horizontal lines of 4 boxes in "Profession" Screen CTRL-S. Tier 1,2,3,4 and Master Pilot Box. In contrast to the ground professions, where every profession has 4 vertical trees with 4 boxes and where you could train only one tree, as a pilot you have to complete all boxes of a tier before you can advanced to the next tier. You advance by EITHER doing storyline missions OR grinding XP OR a mixture of both (I think tier 3 for all squadrons is storyline missions only). Have fun Erillion |

What tier ship and what tier parts? Also depends on your server's economy. Some are pricier than others. |

You can loot em all in space. Otherwise ... for high end parts .... 300k. Thats 3 hours in space and then selling loot you dont need.
