Well i agree in some of your opinions but i dissaggree in some others.

###################################################################
#2: it promotes obsessive grinding and game addiction ( i have met two people already who have flunked out of school due to mmorpg's, and were in college, so their tuition was wasted).. these people obsessively grind for those items which will make them GODS in pvp and live their ego through the game.
###################################################################

First of all u are absolutly correct at the one above and i will not allow anyone to blame me about this even if im hearing like egosentric.
I have lost 3 friends playing wow and final fantasy and the the only thing they were thinking was how to advance in lvls and how to obtain the most legendary items of the game in order to become specialist and have the oportunity to win in pvp.LLLLOLLLL
They spent so many hours to these sh..... and they forgot how to speak, they have become unsociable with other paople and the only thing they know to do now is how to find a way to bull a person and make him feel lesser than them in order to feel that they are gods. And thats because they feel already lesser from everyone especialy to those who have to do something important in their lives
Additionally i figured out in their behaviur that they were willing to talk only about games and one day we went out having a coffee and when i was speaking about something in the real life they didnt have an opinion or their opinion was so childish
I have heard of them saying "i have a charachter and im fuc..... in the whole game".
And the last thing i told them before i leave them behind "yes but in the real life u are a piece of ....."

The result is that big games can make u spent a lot of hours for doing a whole nothing and in the end u live in a fantasy world where everything in the real life makes u ungry.

From the other hand PvP is the only thing that can give u fun because its good when u win someone.
U say that u need a lot of hours playing trying to find the best equipment to come against others awesomly.
Well i feel lucky that i found guildwars and i can spent only 1-2 hours per day and with no need to find the best equipment.Only to finish some easy to find quests in order to unlock skills and can use them to the pvp.
I spent 40 hours to this game and i had a lot of wins, because its not about armor or weapon but its about team playing and how u use and combine the skills with others or alone.
So pvp is good but some companies want to make u real bullheaded so as to loose your mind and thinking only about playing and as a result for the companies to earn as much money they can.And its very clever of them.

So one last thing mmorpgs are good with pvp but if u spent a lot of hours and u think only how to advance your charachter then u need a doctor.

For Greece now its summer time and im going for swimming having good time with a lot of women
so stup....dedicated gamers just keep playing unlimited hours till u lost once and for all your pittiful brain
and maybe one a day realise that what u were doing was something more than an idiocy like i had done

Just think about it
