-So democratic that, in theory, you could become a leader yourself within months were you to amass enough votes... yet our specially built system does not mean '1 step forward, 2 steps back' like most democratic guilds...

We're a MULTI-GAMING guild, therefore although we have official divisions... we are big on empowering members to try their hand in leadership and attempt to pioneer divisions in new games, by giving them the tools and guidance necessary.

Eternal Vigilance is a community, not your average guild. When you join, you'll find a family to hang with for years to come... this should be particularly appealing to those of you that are yet to find your niche admidst the constantly shifting MMO market (and perhaps join our FPS gamers for a few skirmishes in the mean time).

-Our Gods and Heroes division is led by one of the most knowledgeable members of the GNH community, who also happens to have the highest post count on the entire game's forums.
-The guild is also home to three of the small group of core individuals that fought to unveil the truth about Mourning since the beginning.
-Our current elected guild leader is active duty military, and many of our members are real life acquaintances. We're democratic, but with the perfect touch of a no-nonsense grasp on reality.
-We don't skimp on hardware. We currently have a full dedicated server located in California running our US gaming servers, and servers hosted for our European members. Teamspeak is a given.
-Our website is highly customized using a Mambo backend administration platform and decked out forums. It's my personal duty to see to the website and forums, and I own a web hosting company (http://www.syn-con.com) which has given me the necessary experience and power to do so with ease.

OK my first post was very vague and only relevant to fans of the Simpsons, so I will expand.

I've known the founding folk of EV for the past two years. We've played SWG and WoW together, and beyond that, we've been collaborating together in forming EV. We pitched our ideas together and have a strong base of gamers, and beyond the games, we have some great discussions on our message board about a lot of different things -- games, other things, even a little roleplaying here and there (not required by any means).

World Class gaming group, founded in the first week of 2005, but by people who have had years of online gaming experience.

Of course you may apply. We plan on getting a BFII ranked server by the end of august, or early september, so we plan on getting many more members, so don't look down upon us due to the lack of current members in our new BFII division. Grim, be sure to take your time on your application. Many people see it and first impressions mean everything when it comes to judging your app, so stalk the boards and post, but most of all, have fun. We get along with almost everyone and I am sure you would make a fantastic addition to our BFII cohort.
