World War II Online

I bought this game and let me tell you. I dont' even think its a game.

1) Installing this game was very difficult.
2) Logging into the game was very difficult.
3) Once logged into the game figuring it out was VERY difficult.
4) Once your actually in the game the graphcis are SOOO bad and sooooo outdated its unbelievable.

This is the worst game I've ever played or seen in my entire life and i've been a fan of MMORPG's for like 7 years. I've never seen such a poorly implemented product ever.

This is just unbelievable how bad this game is.

PLEASE LISTEN TO ME. Do not buy this game its terrible just terrible.

Running around in the game is sooo bad and sooo poorly designed. I just can't believe I lost $20.00 over this. I 'm calling my credit card company and filing a complaint. This game is sooooooooooooooooooo BAD.

How are the first two difficult? Installation is pretty straitforward. Pick a drive and install. You can even change the default path if you feel like living on the edge. And how are the "Click Here to Play Axis" and "Click Here to Play Allied" buttons difficult to figure out?

Ill give you #3. The learning curve is harsh. Did you read the manual? Did you ask for help on the advertised help channel of 99 (no matter what side your on 99 will help). Did you ask for help from those around you? Most of the players of this game are very nice and remember what being a noob was like.

It seems you put alot of emphasis on eye candy. Granted its not the best, and not near as good as from a shoebox shooter, but when considering the scope allowances must be made.

The gameplay is still the best Ive ever had in a game. Where else can you be an infantryman pinned down by enemy tanks and call on air support to have another player fly over your head on a CAS mission and help you out?

Id disagree im afriad. Eye candy isnt everything but neither is gameplay. I REALLY want to play a mmo like this and i have tried so many times to get into WW2 online. It just doesnt cut the mustard . It is very dated sadly. Even before it was released it was outdated :(

 I found no gameplay really tbh. For a newbie its terrible. You run around and see very few people and  end up concentrating on the graphics since theres not much going on.

Id rather be pinned down by tanks and call for air support in BF 42 tbh :/

I created an account just to reply to this.

1. Installing the game was a breeze for me and 3 of my non computer literate friends

2. Logging is so easy it is not even worth mentioning.

3. All good games take a little while to get into. Did you expect a Microsoft GUI? Give it a chance...

4. The graphics are not the best but the look great when you look at the big picture. Don't just look at a shrub and say "jeez thats crap".

I have been subbed to this game for over a year and have just subbed for another 12 months.

This game is what you make it. You are free to play how you want to play. It is not Half Life.. which I also have and dislike.

FINALLY -  So you purchased a game that has a free trial period? HAHAHAHAHAHA

you compare average mmorpg´s with ww2online and that is wrong, this game has a huge map with non loading zones, a view of several thousand meter, combined air, sea & ground units and a complex damage modell....

if the game is outdated, why you cant show me any pictures about a similar game with better graphic ?

i tell you - cause it would not possible to have great looking graphics a n d the performance of those points i wrote above, it would be possible to code great looking graphic but current pc systems would suxx to run it fluent

Played this game on and off for a while in the free trials, loved every minute of it, and let me tell you, i am a complete graphic nazi, i diss games on graphics straight away, i did with WW2 online.

But then i found the community and the gameplay. Unbeatable. I play WoW and instead of running around with a bunch of 13 year old children screaming OMG LLIEK ALLIANCE ATA THE GATES"!!! i am met with teamplay, co ordination and the biggy - skilled - players. The leaarning curve is harsh, and i ust admit at first you have no idea what you have to do. Then you get in a huge battle and realise that people on this game are really into it.

Best shooter online, period.

Comunity rocks.

And this is coming from someone who played the trial twice, and is now -right now- infact signing up to the game.

Top stuff, difficult enough to make it skilled and rewarding and also keep the kiddies out.

I find it suspicious that the topic creator became a member TODAY and only has 1 post.

It's very suspicious imo
