discuss here. I for 1 have lost alot of the excitement I had about this game based on the new graphical look/gameplay direction they ahv etoo. They alienated the game and the fans who where anticipating it. This is not the same tabulsa rasa we have seen before.

The new videos look fairly uninspiring :( I need to hear a little more about the gameplay to make an informed decision though. I'm actually a fan of NCSoft ... news on the Epic website states that they have just licensed the Unreal 3.0 engine ... I can't wait to see what they craft from that behemoth. |

NCsoft doesnt make games, they publish them. I for on like the new TR, the old one was an ugly mish-mash of sci-fi with bizzare weapons and anime-like characters. I think in terms of gameplay it will remain fairly similar, but with more straight forward weapons and faster gameplay. |

I won't be disappointed, since I have no expectations for this game, but I will be pleased if someone finally pulls off a good futuristic MMOG. Seems like everyone has a different idea of what the future will/should look like. Fantasy MMOGs are rooted in history and legends of our world--things we all relate to and accept. The future world is wide-open and very likely to alienate most expectations... Probably why most great MMOGs are fantasy-based. |

Well...to be disappointed now about Tabula Rasa would be like if you get a new date on next friday, someone your friends insist that you take out to a diner.
You encounter the mom & dad of your new date in the mall on tuesday.
*shrug* aint that a little early to be disappointed because of what the parents of your new date are? If your new date is great while you think the parents are trash, dont it make the new date even better, to have come out of this family setting? Anyway, everyone have a right to it own judgement, I just hope you judge your date rather then the parents of your date.
As for me...my interest toward TR is a little similar to the interest a dragon have for the bard laying in the back of the group. There is a freaking tank(Knight of Solomnia with a lance so he is freaking me) tanking me right now, it is called D&D. I just eat the wizard(CoH) but it contingencies are about to take out(CoV) and I finally tail smack the cleric(EQ) and my MR dismiss the spiritual hammer(EQ2), the ranger is currently trying a bold move(LotR) under a collapasing area and half the group is still outside of my nest! DAoC, WoW and FFXI have failed their saving throw against dragon fear and they are running for the other end of the world, cant care about them right now. And the other adventurers group enter the wrong dungeon and will never find my lair(DnL, GW, SoR, Sims...). Imperator & Vanguard are checking all their buffs are ready before entering my lair, ...and so on. |

So about that little bard on the side? Err, maybe TR will suprise me, yet, he seem quite harmless and there is much more urgent matter at hands now! Like that cute little gnome in some weird metals contraptions that I dont know if he will reach me and if that may hurt me or if he will self kill himself(Auto-Assault).
