Well today I noticed that a webpage at gamershell waited for information when all text was downloaded already. "waiting for uk.intellitxt.com" tells my Firefox (usually I dont even notice when these text ads are downloaded & add links to words in regular text).

Hmm ok I do what I always do for ads that come from one specific domain:
127.0.0.1 uk.intellitxt.com
127.0.0.1 us.intellitxt.com
in the hosts file (C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc for xp).

That means that windows goes to 127.0.0.1 & not the regular IP. Now 127.0.0.1 is sort of special, this is your own computer which means uk.intellitxt.com cannot be displayed or surfed to.

The ugly green linked texts from gamespy, gamershell & such are now all gone ::::02::
